RESTORATION - Alloy Wheels Refurbish DIY, repairing set of Honda rims at home, curb rash!

In this video I'm showing the full process from start to finish of restoring a set of alloy wheels. Bought these original Honda rims in a very used condition and decided to refurbish myself. I also decided to change the colour from silver to a more sportier dark metallic grey which suits the colour of my car better.
I had never done this type of job before so don't think I'm an experienced person. I'm just a modeller who builds scaled cars out of model kits in 1/24 scale. The experience I gained throughout my modeling experience, like sanding and spraying, was adapted to refurbish these rims.
I have documented all the steps in order to help other people do similar jobs themselves too. I tried to be as clear as possible, but if you have any more questions or anything is not clear, feel free to leave a comment and ask.

The back of the wheels were well cleaned, sanded lightly and sprayed with a spray can in light gun metal. Before spraying I obviously masked the spokes openings from the back to cover the newly sprayed face of the rims. Hope that helps 👍🏼

Thank you sir ☺️ The initial plan when I bought them was just that, a simple repair with putty and then some coats of silver! But then I decided to challenge myself and see if I can get them a proper darker grey finish. Never did a similar job, but working on model cars gives you a basic idea of what needs to be done!
