Well done. Not that it matters, but these pliers were surely not made in Germany (even if they are of a German type). The inscription on the backside is misspelled, should be STAHL-GESCHMIEDET (not GESCHNIEDET) - I assume they mean drop forged steel.

Why is this not German. “Stahl Geschniedet” translates to “steel cut”.

@@MiGrain404 It does, if you spell it with an "M" as I stated. But then that is really nothing special, there is no other way to make a tool like that I know of, just variants of forging.

If you look closer, there was no enough space for the letter M. It must be on purpose that they put the letter N instead. I never liked these writings on the tools, because they are useless, like having "Chrome - Vanadium" on both sides of the tool, or "Forged Steel" etc. Why putting that on almost every tool? We all know what it is. And if it's a badly made tool, it will break or bend and that writting on the tool won't mean a thing to the user. If you are going to have something written on the tool, put the factory name, model number, and/or the date. I like how they did it in U.S. and U.K. back in the day, some even had a factory address stamped.
