yes, please! i just bought your book after following along with this class. i felt wholly invited to a surprisingly moving experience, and your words and movements deepened my understanding of what it means to be present, mindful, and welcoming. my body and mind and soul felt cleansed afterwards. i even cried a bit at the end when you mentioned honoring the “realized beings” that brought us this practice. this was my very first restorative yoga experience. from the bottom of my heart: thank you 🙏

Yes! Thank you so much. I've exhausted , needing refuge. I had to use an extra pillow under the bolster for the poses on the front of the body. I fell asleep in the last frog pose. I feel better!

Thank you so much for this lovely practice! I was definitely able to relax a little more readily without having to fiddle with a bunch of props (I've read the beginning of your book & am still working on figuring out blanket folds😆) & this was just what I was needing today. ✨🙏🏼✨

Hi, I am looking to get into yoga. How often should one practice yoga to get all the benefits?
@carenhope2 жыл бұрын
This is a "depends" question on what benefits you're seeking in particular and what specific yoga practice you'd like to focus on.

Thank you so much Caren for this lovely practice! I find myself coming back to it a couple times a week as I’m dealing with Long Covid. I would really appreciate it if you could answer one question for me: whenever I’m in child’s pose for some time I feel my feet starting to tingle. Does this indicate I should maybe add more props or is that normal? I can rest my bum on my feet and my belly on the bolster comfortably without feeling any strain in my muscles.
@carenhope Жыл бұрын
I’m glad this is helpful for you! Tingling is a normal response to blood flow restriction in the feet from the ankle position in Supported Child’s Pose. Try rolling a blanket and resting both ankles on top of that instead. There’s an illustration of this in my book.

Love your style and voice…..could use some yoga music….my mind wanders too much without it!
@carenhope Жыл бұрын
It’s normal for the mind to wander. Getting used to silence is part of the practice of yoga. ☺️
