As bad as this game is, I don't consider it complete garbage. The soundtrack is actually great and the jankiness has a weird charm to it. The Contra Adventure however.....yeah. Screw that game. It trolls you by having the first level be 2D making you think it might actually be good but nope. All of the other levels are generic 3D jungle/ruins with crap camera angles. Imagine what these games could have been like if they were developed in house by Konami like SotN was.

This game soured my love for future Contra games. Though the gun selection is similar to Contra: Hard Corps it’s still terrible. Or should I say “janky”?

The shameless nostalgia mining in the first two stages between the layout, music, and bosses is truly egregious. The only thing that lasted from this game is that weird ass green alien speech, and good riddance

I wonder if contra could be third person or first person but they should test that idea Because i'm not like yeah lets make another contra game and see if it fails with these camera changes
