I really loved this talk however I don't agree that you can't make a difference to outside relationships by going within and healing or changing yourself. I've done this a lot and I can already see family relationship's changing without me having to say or do anything. I've also just listened to Matt's talk on Responding To Global Tragedy, another great video, where he says to send something positive from within rather than going out into the world and protesting at what's happening. If we are all energy, then sending love or positive energy out into the world does create more love and more peace otherwise why do it. Maybe I didn't hear this correctly but surely if we go within to heal our family traumas and we create peace within then that must make a difference to those outside of us. Any thoughts?

Hi Tracy. I think you may have miss heard. What I heard was that you cannot go inside to change your partner into what you want them to be. You need to go inside to discover what you truly need from your partner and then voice that need with honesty. If the two cannot align, no amount of working on self can make that relationship a perfect match.

So precious - they expressed what I vaguely felt is the essence of a relationship but coudn't put in words, let alone i such beautful ones. And by hearing it verbalized that made it much clearer to me. I think I can share with my beloved even better now by having listened deeply to this interview.
