I do pretty well just doing rideshare so far. I treat it like a real business, not some side gig. I get up early, get the car washed, and clean my windows. I wear a dress shirt and tie. I'm not in a major city but I treat it like a "real" business. I have friends that drive in the same area and complain that they don't don't make enough. You are your own boss. Be a tough boss. You'll do fine.

Until people get the idea of it being a side hassle, and having integrity and making it a dull time business, they'll never succeed.

Upside is good but if you live near a Sam’s Club or Costco get gas there First, it’s always cheaper. Electric cars you can rent/lease them.

Can you get gas at Sams Club if you’re not a member??
@scottbrown5112 Жыл бұрын
@@marykramer7088 Not really, but A few times I was low on fuel and not close to home I went to a Costco and said “ I’m low on gas and don’t have a Costco card on me can you use your card so I can fill up?” (They did)

Also if you live in a state that has giant eagle, sign up for advantage pay. It’s free. Up to 30 cents off per gal. Compare that to upside and go with the cheapest gas.

If you use upside use a card that gets you cash back on gas, even debit cards

I have seen a 33% percent decrease in earnings with Uber Eats. I earned $21 dollars per hour during the pandemic and now I struggle to earn $14 dollars per hour.

@@yourfriendlyneighborhoodic128 I dont think you understand business. The point of my post was that I'm actually doing MORE work now but receiving LESS money. They increase my average distance of travel by 33% while decreasing the pay by 33%. So I'm actually losing money. It has nothing to do with not trying hard enough. That was a stupid comment.

What is happening with Grubhub? I have not received a decent order worth delivering in over a month and they all pay around a dollar per mile or less in my area which is the Portland Oregon metro area in Vancouver Washington.

If people could pay off their credit cards that quickly, then why not just buy upfront. Majority of credit card holders have the credit because they can't buy upfront. Yes it's good to try and pay more then your monthly, but realistically it's not that easy

If you have a full-time job and feel you need a side hustle. Maybe you need to concentrate more on your primary job so that you don't need a side hustle period there's something wrong with your work as it. If you need a side hustle period these apps can be a full-time business in their own period no I said business because they are not a job.
@kellenw68565 ай бұрын
That's a pretty opaque way of looking at the world. Not everyone's experience mirrors yours. Some people may not yet be qualified to do their dream job so they have to work a prerequisite job first, which often does not pay very well. Enter side hustle. Trying to force your opinion as fact by using "period, end of story" language is both manipulative and ignorant.
@yourfriendlyneighborhoodic1285 ай бұрын
@@kellenw6856 there is no such thing as a "side hustle" either your in business or you are not. if you can't geet a better job then focus on the primary job .orr start a real business.
