Thank you Chris for the vid. I just purchased one of these myself and am very impressed with the audio quality. I was once tied down to about 25 ft. before my previous bluetooth connection would be broken. Now I can walk the entire house and stay connected. Bonus!

I have had the Oasis for 4 or 5 years and it works great. Its sort of expensive but very good quality. Sound quality is great>> Would buy again!

Thank you for this video. While operating in transmitter mode, do the volume buttons on the Oasis work? Cause my hearing aids have no volume adjustment feature.

I bought this unit to use it at the office in combination with Sony WH-1000XM2 headphones. I really love the Oasis so far. There is just one annoying thing and that is the build-in speaker. To voice that comes from it telling you about what it's doing is freaking loud! I just put some tape over the speaker and the volume has dropped by atleast 50% and is now almost acceptable.

so in bypass mode does it still transmit through the bluetooth, or is it only one or the other? The use case for this is where a person hard of hearing can wear headphones to hear clearly while others listen through the speakers at a normal room volume.

When you say no latency when watching TV, as a check, have you tried to have the audio go through your headphones and also the speakers of your tv at the same time? Is there an echo effect? Or is it 100% in sync with the tv speakers?

what i mean with no latency is watching the lips of actors talking and hearing the audio through headphones is timed correctly

If the unit is powered off doesn’t remember the previous Bluetooth device connected to it? Some of these units I’ve looked at have a major flaw or what I would consider a major flaw in that every time you want to use the Bluetooth headset with the Bluetooth transmitter you must re-sync the Bluetooth device with the transmitter. Hoping that is not the case with this unit.

Have you tried connecting multiple Bluetooth devices at the same time, and does it affect latency? I ask because Avantree is selling the “Oasis plus” which claims to support aptx low latency when connected to 2 devices. Apparently the regular version doesn’t support that. Just wondering if that was a marketing ploy or if you actually noticed latency when connecting multiple devices. Thanks.

If your asking, - can it simultaneously transmit and receive audio, it cannot

Aloha, If your speakers are not already Bluetooth compatible you will need a separate Bluetooth receiver connected to them and use the Oasis as a transmitter. Depending upon the connection there is latency. The Oasis is a little pricey, so you may want to look into other Bluetooth receivers that may cost a little less. Go to the Avantree website and download the user guide. That should answer all your questions.

Connect through Optical cable and can work Bluetooth from TV headphones. IF YOU HAVE SMART TV, Bluetooth can connect straight to TV

Hi, I've got one coming today. I've tried a couple of others but the low volume levels have been an issue. How is the maximum volume level?

It doesn't go crazy volume, I wouldn't just so the sound does not distort. But Volume level is subjective. For me its fine I did not notice it being lacking. :/

Chris Shao Thank you Sir, I shall look forward to trying it later on. Yeah I don't want silly loud, but it's nice occasionally to have the option. I'm using a pair of AKG Y 50 BT headphones with a galaxy S8 at the moment and they're acceptable with most content, but a couple of these transmitters / receivers and one in particular was probably 20-30% less than the phone and no way to increase it even using the TV volume on 100! Hopefully the optical input will be set as loud as Auxiliary. Sorry mate, one more question. Does the optical input blow the Auxiliary away in sound quality?

So got it all working tv tx to headphones. Wife turns on TV and a message a bit later comes on "connect music to your mobile device" how can I stop this BT from putting messages on the TV screen? She has to disconnect my Oasis to stop this from continuing to occur.

outside... seems like less walls, I wonder how it will fare for your use.

It actually worked pretty well outside. The receiver was about 70' inside away and it broke up a little bit but it wasn't real bad.

+insignificant83 sound wise, the avantree is 👌on point. Logitech have not tried but have a good feeling $21 dollars it is a good buy for sound quality. If not, you can always return ~ avantree oasis does out shine with feature set

I have the Bose bluetooth reciever and I must say that the Avantree Oasis is on par with it. The Oasis has excellent sound quality. I don't believe you will regret your purchase.
