This is definitely going to be on the agenda this summer when we go on vacation to Cape May.

The trackside lights are a mix of old and new signals from the PRSL and NJT installed signals. The rustier signals are obviously over, but the one that was closer to the swing bridge is a newer installed tri light signal. The swing bridge used to be a turntable like at a roundhouse that was converted into a swing bridge.

Nice! I hadn't realized that someone had opened one of the rail rider tours out of Cape May. My wife, kids and I visit Stone Harbor nearly every year (we were there in June) and usually take a trip down to Cape May for the day. Hope they stick around, will definitely be making a reservation for a ride next year. Too bad the trip isn't a bit longer though. But I'd imagine getting whatever authority that controls the swing bridge to open/close it several times a day, would be be near impossible.

It was not honeysuckle you were smelling but rather Autumn Clematis. A lot of people confuse them with honeysuckle.

Thank you! So the really ironic thing is Friday morn I was at a state park filming again and I 100% made the same comment…. Walking down a trail hit a strong smell of honeysuckle

Does everyone have to get off on the return journey or you just chose to?
@42Freeway3 жыл бұрын
yes.. the cars have to be turned around (its a one direction track). The emplyees do it. so you have to get off for a short amount of time
