It was directed by Peter Ramsey, Bob Persichetti, Rodney Rothman and starred many voices such as Shameik Moore, Haille Steinfeld, Nic Cage, Mahershala Ali, Brian Tyree Henry and more. Miles Morales is the center of the story and finds himself in contact with Peter Parker, a lot of them, Gwent Stacy, Spider-Ham and they face Kingpin and the multiverse awaits. It was an Oscar winning film and Kristian, Winston and Coy end their Spider-Man rewatch series with this one!

For my money, it’s my all-time favorite Spider-Man movie, live-action or animated. I’ve always considered Spider-Man the Everyman of the Marvel Universe. So I love that the movie reinforces the idea that no matter the color of your skin, your gender. your species, your design, your universe; ANYone can wear the mask.

OK, let me start by saying that I love this movie! It is one of my favorites of the decade... And I just liked "Solo" I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it either. But I'm getting tired of Phil Lord and Christopher Miller being praised so much for this film and using this film as an example to say "How good Solo would have been, etc..." They get too much credit for it when they were among the 11 producers of the film and only Phil Lord co-wrote the film with Rodney Rothman. And I never hear credit given to those who actually made the movie, Rothman, Bob Persichetti & Peter Ramsey. And I don't say that to defend Disney or Lucasfilm, which if some of the rumors were true, maybe they had several good reasons to fire them. And I'm not saying it against you guys either, because saying that about this cool movie has become like a meme. To the point that many believe the movie was completely made by Lord and Miller. Kind of like with Tim Burton and Nightmare Before Christmas...

Lord & Miller were part of the small group that won Oscars for Spider-Verse, they did a lot. Burton's original short story for Nightmare Before Christmas is the entire story for the film he produced.

Animation and Spider-Man go together like peanut butter and jelly. They just work. Into the Spiderverse is just so groundbreaking because it dared to try new things all the way around. Im glad we had this spider man retrospective, it was the only retrospective that I really enjoyed. What you said about easter eggs, Kristian, where Audience member #1 gets easter egg A, but Audience member #2 gets A and C and lets #1 know about C, but they both later find out about easter egg B when they're talking about it over dinner after the movie kind of thing is really cool, fun and it doesn't deprive anyone of anything so there's no reason not to do it (unless for budget or editing reasons).

Easily the greatest Spider-Man movie so far. I had to rewatch the movie yesterday after listening to you guys. I remember going opening night to see this and the theater was practically empty. It’s a shame that animation has a stigma. Especially when it’s superheroes and animation. But slap Pixar or Disney and folks go. My favorite Spider-Man movie, and also makes my personal list for perfect movies. Right up there with A New Hope, and Raiders, while edging out Jurassic Park. The animation and voice acting are perfect tens. The soundtrack is solid. The relationships are done well and the Spiders that get brought feel fleshed out. Bummed Hailee Steinfeld can't be live action Ghost-Spider, but she's killing it as Hawkeye/Kate Bishop Also think Peter Ramsey should be in the conversation for the Superman/Val-Zod project

Im excited for the sequel because of Joaquim Dos Santos, who is directing it. He directed some of the best episodes of Justice League, Avatar the Last Airbender (I believe the four part finale being them too) & Legend of Korra. So happy he is getting a feature animated film cuz the guy can direct. And is being co-directed by the co-director of Soul which is awesome

This is easily my favourite Spider-man movie. The art is brilliant. The script is funny, heartwarming, and interesting. The voice acting is top notch. It is truly an A+ movie. The only thing I might change is putting such a hyper focus on a Post Malone song. It has a high chance of dating the movie but that's a small gripe. I wish more studios would invest this much time and effort into their art. The DC movies have had the same cheap look for 3 decades. I hate it at this point. I would love to see a Batman animated movie given this much care and respect.

Man, this is by far my favourite Spidey movie of all of them. I was not the fan of comicbook version of Miles Morales, but this movie sold him so well I could not not accept him. A terrific heroe's journey with excellent and respectful callbacks. And the animation is astonishing. With Post Malone doing a lot of soundtrack it's perfection. I like No way home, but this movie remains the definitive spiderverse movie for me.

Btw my favorite scene of this movie besides the obvious major fights is the flashback sequence with Kingpin. Oh and fun fact my second cousin gave Liev Shrieber his first movie role or at least a movie role years and years before he was famous. Hal Salwen, he made artsy movies that did well at festivals. It was called “Denise Calls Up”. Liev is Jewish, like me.

I would love to hear Winston and Coys take on the Playstation Spiderman video game comparing that Spiderman to all these other adaptations. I do love Tobey the most but the Playstation version is the Peter (original design not new design) we all deserve in the movies but never got. Not sure if you ever played the game Kristian and if so would like to hear your take on the game.
