Edward and Sophie both came to my small town in North Wales back in 2008 and planted a tree in our local coronation gardens. My dad and mum both met them and they said Sophie was especially lovely and so down to earth.

What a great down-to-earth couple. I also really enjoyed the style of Rhiannon Mills as interviewer. She seems very warm and isn't google-eyed or condescending. Just normal and conversational. I liked it when the Earl was talking about walking down a "corridor of people" and being scared. I know he understands that everyone there loves the Family and just wants to greet them and say a warm haloo to them!

Edward does come across as the most 'normal' of the four siblings. He came across as a bit bratty in the 80s but since he got married I think he's become a genuinely nice guy. She's probably been a good influence on him. She comes across as the most relatable and 'together' of the wives too.

I always felt that Sophie was the woman that has been the making of Edward. He and his siblings were extremely arrogant somehow, before Princess Diana's death. Sophie is very intelligent, classy and above all well balanced.

In the early years of her marriage to Edward, the News of the World exposed Sophie for exploiting her Royal connections to promote her PR company. The fake Arab Sheikh incident, where she was recorded insulting members of the BRF and MPs, calling the Queen "old dear". She had to send out several letters of apology to Charles, then PM - Tony Blair and to others. The royal family were reportedly furious over “Sophiegate,” and the media wanted Sophie to give up her royal title.
