Amazing to think that the history of Rhodes to date has now taken its journey to Leeds! Would love to try a mk8 and it looks and sounds like a special instrument.

crafty ingenuity -and resourceful. I owned gigged with a 1973 FR 73 key stage piano throughout the 80’s. Love it.🎧

Does it still take an army of bodybuilders to move it?

Nice instrument. Certainly the electro-mechanical instruments have their merit. Nice styling, too. And it's built to order, and you wait 6 months. Not unreasonable. And it's not even that expensive, if you compare to say American made Fender guitars and basses. I mean, a Rhodes like this has for more mechanical parts and material than guitars and basses. The bottom line though, why insist on modeling or sampling a Rhodes in software if you can have the real thing.

Incredible instrument. Any digital piano can imitate but far from the real thing. The Rhodes stands on its own, natural. Stevie Wonder would agree with my assessment.
