I am an LPN and an American “Foodie”. This recipient is from my childhood 40 years ago. It is as fragrant and as irresistible as she describes. WARNING- make your Tea or Coffee BEFORE you start to fry the toast. Because when it starts to cook, No One will want to wait for the finished tea or coffee !!!!! Listen...i dont usually like to look at long videos to make anything (I'm surprised i looked at this entire video) - and also i shy away from making bread because it takes too long to make and too much kneading. But this video is mesmerizing and makes me feel i could make bread properly and endure the long process of making it. Your voice is very calm and your video is perfect in terms of your directions and putting the information within the video itself. One of the best videos out here.. i made this recipe without dry fruit because i am amateur and learn how to make bread, so i just use the basic ingredients water, sugar, yeast, salt , melted butter and flour ( half wheat half bread flour ), turned into beautiful soft bread and will toast it for happy breakfast , thank you for sharing the easy way of making easy bread, no need any fancy utensils either..hug & love from Indonesia

Just made this. I substituted a 1/4 C fruit for nuts. I didn't have cardamom so I used a little nutmeg, ginger and a little extra cinnamon. It turned out great!! Thanks for recipe and video!!
