rich963; thank you SO much for posting this, sir!!! 💖🌹 IMHO it is one of the most Beautiful and Uplifting Songs ever written!!! Being born in 1950, I have of course been aware of THE SEEKERS since their inception in 1962 when I was a wee lad of 11 years-old. But it was not until a month ago, that I REALLY got into them; adding them to my Spotify mix, and watching every KZbin video I could discover. 💘🎶 This song is my #1 Fave of theirs and likely will be in my next TOP 25 Songs of All-Time, All Artists!!! I next will open your link to their DVD, as I would LOVE to own that to share with my wife, family and friends! 🎧💿 THE SEEKERS have vaulted from nowhere to #6 in my All-Time Fave Bands of All-Time!!! (Right behind my #5 Bee Gees and ahead of my #7 Beatles.) I truly love and adore them and their music! God bless you for making this available to millions of true music fans from every generation alive here in 2022!!! 🙏💝🙏💝🙏 God bless THE SEEKERS!!!

We have heard great female pop singers with powerful and beautiful voices, such as Linda Ronstadt, Agnetha Faltskog (Abba), Karen Carpenter, Ann Wilson (Heart), Carole King, Olivia Newton-John, and others. But no one seems to be able to do what Judith Durham was able to do with her vocal power, pitch, purity, poise, resonance, range, emotion, grace, gentleness, simplicity, effortless delivery, transcendent, heavenly sublime tonal quality, and overall luminous stage presence. A voice with the soft and supple texture of the sublime. Judith left her listeners awestruck with every performance. The angelic wings of her voice allowed the audience to soar with her to the deepest blue of heaven's skies. Truly missed, inimitable, and irreplaceable.

@@isobellickes8543 So sorry to hear you lost your dad so young and so long ago. Strange how so many people have said they remember them as children . That's because they were always on the radio, and their songs were so memorable. In fact their songs were some of the first songs I remember as a child. Australia's had a bad week with Olivia NJ passing too. Vocal icons of our lives, who nobody can match today.

For Tango Bango: I was enjoying this video while scrolling through the comments, with my mind far away from things I don't like that were on your things to forget list, especially Hillary Clinton & the protesters, and YOU had to bring them up! Thanks for killing my experience by this classic example of irony where what some- one does so to try and prevent something from happening ACTUALLY CAUSES IT to occur! Now, back to this soothing ballad to get my mind and mood back where it was. (With malice toward none. PEACE!)

I was given this as a 7" single (45rpm), and the 'B Side' also has a beautiful song, 'When The Stars Begin To Fall'. I fell in love with the singers voice, but I never saw her until I looked for a 'Seekers' album in a music shop (while clutching my birthday money) and saw the group on some of the album covers. As much as I love Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple and Bad Company, the absolute purity of Judith Durham's voice, accompanied by the groups' acoustic instruments, always has me going back to their music. She'll always be a legend in my eyes, and in my ears. RIP JD.
