@@theindooroutdoorsman the other day I hit a beautiful sand wedge shot right into the water.
@theindooroutdoorsman2 жыл бұрын
@@noname-md6pw Last round I played, made it to the 9th hole on the same ball. I was 104 yards out from the pin. Been hitting my 56 great all day, but I wanted to use my 50 instead and try to hit the green, and go for a birdie, rather than clearing the 15 yards of water in front of me with my 56 and going for par. So I pulled my gap wedge, took a couple of practice swings, then topped the ball right into the water. Really fell apart after that and finished with a 125, I was on track to break 100 until that damned pond.
@noname-md6pw2 жыл бұрын
@The Indoor Outdoorsman oof man. I've topped the ball into water plenty of times. The course I play at has like 12 holes with water and it's not florida but it's not a great course anyway. I'm starting to get a lot better with my swing tho.
@noname-md6pw2 жыл бұрын
@The Indoor Outdoorsman When I hit that sand wedge shot I told you about, I missed clearing the pond by about 5 feet. 54 was barely not enough. Just needed a bit harder of a hit. Lots of cases where I just need to hit the ball harder.

I started golfing in fall of 2021. I'm to the point now where I can par to +2 every whole at my local course. Much of what I've learned is because of Rick's videos. Alot of these other no names making instructional videos make them long and drawn out filled with nothing or very little useful info. Then there's Rick, an actual somebody with experience. Humble, modest, to the point, with loads of useful information, and techniques. I very much admire and appreciate that.

Well...he is making me realize how much I have wrong with my swing, in one video!!! If you ever want to know how bad your swing is, then set up a tripod and shoot a high speed of a swing from straight ahead of you (camera facing you perpendicular to your shot direction) and compare it to Rick's same view. You'll regret it immediately!!! His swing is near perfect, while we look we are trying to push a rope uphill!

Hi Rick can you please help when I swing back I can feel my left hand lose the grip so with the follow through I end up hitting the ball with face open causing a huge slice. This even happens with the glove on. I though it was the grips on my clubs but they in good condition and I even experience experience this with a rental.

Rick, I've been watching your videos for about a month now, about as long as I've been golfing. Your tips have transformed my whole game. I went from shooting in the 110's to shooting mid 90s in a month. My irons used to be terrible and are now the best part of my game. I absolutely appreciate your videos and you make it simple to implement these mechanics.

These videos are simply great. I have had lessons from great teachers over the years but I took a few years off and forgot "most" of the details I learned. Rick has reminded me of the important details and made it fun at the same time. I have definitely made faster progress, with less frustration by reviewing Rick's video and then practicing the advice on the range. I have tried to have a practice after each video watched while the information is fresh. Really appreciate the down to earth attitude and fun personality Rich has in the videos.. (BTW "farther" instead of "further" when discussing distance.. hitting the ball "far"ther.. )
