One thing you really need in Europe is cash. Most restaurants (especially smaller ones) only take cash, at least here in Germany. And be aware of pick pocketers on public transportation!

A fun thing my family and I do when we go to Europe is we don't pack any shampoo, conditioner, hairspray etc! It is risky, but super fun to buy new and foreign products and you may find one you love!

Things you shouldn't forget to pack/do for your trip to Europe: 1.Make sure you pack the right clothes.I know L.A has a warm climate and it's really hot in the summer,but if you travel to central and northern Europe it can definitely get chilly so pack a few jackets as well 2.An umbrella is always useful 3.Actually,you do need a coin case because if you use cash on your purchases they will give you a lot of coins back in change. 4.I would recommend,downloading a translation app to your phone 5.A lot of toiletries you use,you might not be able to find in Europe,so pack all of these. 6.Don't forget medicine,because if you have prescription medicine they take it with you,cause you're not gonna be able to get it in a pharmacy 8.I would also recommend to bring some allergy medication,just in case you get an allergic reaction to some food or something cause food and drinks are different here. 9.Don't forget insect repellent sprays 10.And last don't forget passports,adapters and call your credit card company to let them know you're gonna charge your card in different currency in different countries so your charges will not be refused :) I live in Europe myself and I am actually travelling to another european country too next week :) have fun :*

You can't use your curling iron or flat iron even with those adaptors. The voltage is different and they will get ruined. You'll need to buy those in Europe or check the voltage of yours, but usually they are not compatible. Also, you're going to need a lot of coins, for the metro, bus, vending machines, and you have no idea how necessary they are. And right now there is extremely hot, so a lot of shorts, dresses, skirts, no sleeve shirts. And comfortable shoes, because you'll be walking a lot, even museums are huge. Hope that helped :D

I couldn't tell you exactly what you need to bring with you as No country In Europe is the same so it depends on what country your going to! A universal plug adaptor is a must tho! every country in Europe has coins so Your purse will come In handy whatever country your in while in Europe! Hope you have a great trip x

In Europe you use a lot of change because one euro and two euro are change so you should still bring the Rebecca Minkoff bag for your euros. Have a great time, I went to Italy in May and it was amazing.

if your going to the UK then the electic plug adapters are totally different to any other part of europe, make sure you take both, or get one of those adapters where you can switch the plug shape. i know 'Antler Luggage' does a great one x

I am not sure where about in Europe your going to be in Greece I was eaten alive by Mosquitos so take some insect repellent with you! I'd also recommend a umbrella if ur coming to the uk - weather can change hourly! Download city maps on to ur phone before you go as if u use ur data in a foreign country you will get a huge bill when you get home. Xo

I live in Paris and you should take a hand-bag which has a zipper because there are a lot of pickpockets in paris and also a bag pack is not a very good idea because it's easier for them to steal you. Also always carry an umbrella and bottle of water with you because every person in Paris has this in their bags ^^ and it's reeeeaaaally usefull I'm telling you ;)

If there are any personal care items that you HAVE to have a certain brand of, I would bring extra! Things like tampons or deodorant. I have been in that situation where I had to buy whatever overseas because mine ran out or whatever and I wished I had had "my" brand and style. Also, toilet paper/cottonelle wipes and hand sanitizer! You never know when they will charge you to use the TP or they won't have any.

Live in England. I think in most places you don't have normal plugs in the bathroom- so you should consider getting an adapter for that as well (have three pronged for normal rooms, and weird two pronged ones for bathroom which are still different to America) so if you have a rechargeable toothbrush will need one.

Come to Finland if you can! You haven't experienced summer in Europe if you haven't gone to sauna and skinny dipped in a Finnish lake. :D Midnight sun is also something to experience. Also from Finland you can easily access other countries such as Sweden, Estonia and Russia! :)

Check your curling iron/wand and make sure it's dual voltage or you will fry your appliances. My bed head curling wand is 120/240 Volts and worked great In Europe.

A little tip when you go on the plain don't take any liquid in your carry-on bag , about the Wi-Fi they have a pretty good Wi-Fi connection I do not l don't know about your friend maybe had a bad experience. and have a nice trip 😘 You know I was there last week and it was amazing😍

Britain has 3 pin plugs, whereas mainland Europe has 2 pin plugs, so if you're planning to go to both make sure you have an adapter which can do either. x

You need a variety of different European adapter. And make sure your electronicals (eg curling irons, hair dryer) are made for 240V! And always carry some cash with you, because it's not as common as in the US to pay with credit cards, especially in restaurants..

For an American that lives in Europe, I have found that knowing the key words of that country to guide you. So maybe like some app or a book to translate words. As well, in Europe, I have noticed that the streets are very small so if your renting a car or anything like that, rent a small one. And also, what you think might be a food in America, is a different version in Europe. So I know that at first, when I ordered a hamburger, I was expecting a piece of meat with buns but not in the country I lived. I hope this helps and I love your video to death. I watch every vlog of yours.

you still should take something for coins...because the euro does have coins that do have a higher value than american coins (we don't have a 1€ or 2€ bill like your dollar bills its oins) and you tend to colect coins pretty fast in euros. I've heard that most americans don't realize that a small hand of coins in euros could be worth more than 20 dollars. Oh and do take something warm to wear because the weather is unpredictable this summer :( at least in germany

Make a copy of your traveling documents (passport, etc.) in the off-chance that you lose it. They had me make a copy of mine during a school trip years ago, and it's been a safety precaution for me ever since. I just leave it in the safe in my hotel. Also, get some cash exchanged here in the US for whatever country you're going to first. You may not find a place to exchange as soon as you get there, some places don't accept US dollars at all, and Airport rates are always super high in my experience. I think the equivalent of $50 USD should be good.
