So this song is written around a stage drama actor. So a village organises a stage drama and it's about a king called Ajaasath ( who was a king in India , when Lord Buddha was still alive) . Prince Ajaasath was misguided by person called Devadaththa, and eventualy kills his father and becomes king . Later he comes to his senses and realised what he had done and then he follows Buddha and Buddhism. So in this song the actor who is playing king Ajaasath, describes what he wears( the crown, sword, gold ...etc) and how he will act and specially how he will act how he killed his father and then he says that the village girls who are watching the drama , will secretly love him ❤. Very lovely song .
English meaning - Naadagam Geeya ...................... In tomorrow night’s play I will dress as the king Named Ajasatta All the girls in the village will fall for me If you think I’m lying, watch and see for yourself // Wearing a pendant And the crown round his forehead Twirling his sword Is the way he enters the stage// The girls watching will, no lie, weave their love in secret // He will say I am Ajasat I am the king I have killed my father and taken the kingdom He will say I am Ajasat I am the king I have killed my father and taken the crown As I stride forward saying this, The girls will weave their love // In tomorrow night’s play I will dress as the king Named Ajasatta All the girls in the village will fall for me If you think I’m lying, watch and see for yourself //

"අසා සිටින අඟනුන් සත්තයි ආලේ බඳියි රහසින්....... :) " Brilliant job Ridma. Faith in Sinhalese music restored !! Keep up the good work brother and all the best !!!!
Man! Charitha Attalage has a great taste in music. He fused classical Sinhala tones with western tones so effortlessly in this song. Definitely one of the best composers we have in the industry.
I am a good friend of your mother. She was a super senior to me at the workplace. She has been honestly happy for your talent. I am amazed by listening to the song. Super talent. Keep up the great work Putha....!!! In fact, I went 25 years to the history when I was a Nadagam Actor in Tower Hall Nadagam Remakes....!!! May You Be Blessed...!!!
