It is an oversimplification and ignorance of the complex conditions, variety of choices, and range of repercussions of people's choices. Pascal is referring to a very specific subset of the various gods that have been believed in. Some versions of Christian Gods do not grant access to heaven for simply believing. Some versions only grant access to heaven for a predetermined group of individuals. Some versions get upset when you try to trick them and are unlikely to grant access to heaven because of that. So if one was to pretend to believe would your god be fooled by that? For example, I don't believe in any gods but I could say I did. Could you tell the difference? Could your god? Do you see how useless your silly wager is?

Tucker did talk only about Christians, but pastor Isaac clearly said on a number of occasions that they share the same faith as their Muslim neighbors, he also referred to himself as a Palestinian. So I believe that Tucker did a brilliant thing, an audience that maybe doesn't get a proper picture or does not believe in the horrible reality that Palestinians are going through, got that message from a man they can find credible and trustworthy.

The point of the interview (I think) was to speak to a particular group - Christians who are supporting Israel. And that's how change happens because people care about their own interests more than anything else. It is smart and much more effective than name-calling, shaming, or begging. I think that what makes this interview controversial, is that Tucker is criticizing major religious institutions that have tens of millions of believers. For many decades now, religious institutions have been able to one sidedly, cross the barrier between church and state and aggressively promote political policies that are harmful to the state as well as take money from the state (while remaining free from taxation). Evangelical Christians have driven our endless wars in the Middle East, the Catholic Church has promoted open borders and has led caravans of people from South America and all around the world across our southern border, many mainline Protestant churches have also pushed for open borders and for far left violent causes such as Black Lives Matter. It's time to hold religious organizations accountable for the great harm that they are causing both to America and to countries around the world. By far the worst thing that they promote is zionism. It was nationwide and has been going on for a while, but in the months before the Israeli government finally had to do something about it it was just rampant. That was actually about a month or two before the Hamas attack last Oct. The thing about it is, you don’t see that stuff in Palestine. For all the anti Palestinian propaganda and making Palestine out to be some kind of extreme islamic state where you’d be slain for being Christian, you’re not gonna get any videos like that of Christians in Palestine being treated like that by Muslims. Palestine is A LOT more secular than most people realize. Sure, Hamas is Islamist, by definition meaning they’re for an Islamic state, but as far as Islamist militant groups go, such as ISIS and Taliban and so forth, in practice, Hamas is more focused on Israel’s trying to protect Palestine’s borders from Israel. The Christians in Palestine, of which there are many, will tell you themselves it’s not Hamas that gives them trouble, it’s the Israelis who do. So, yes, Hamas is F’d up, but i don’t put them in the same the category with ISIS and so on. And as far as Palestine being very secular, the PLO is secular, Fatah is secular, most Palestinian militant groups have been secular. I have lived in the middle east for many years, unless you live there you don't know how badly Christian Palestinians are treated. I knew Christian Palestinian, there lives were so hard in that when in public they would hide their crosses. When I was in Saudi Arabia I knew a Palestinian women who was married to an american who would wear a bandage on arm because she had a christian tattoo on upper arm. A lot of Jews and Arabs in the middle east don't like Palestinians whither they are Christian or Muslim. Most Arabs especially dislike Christian Palestinians.
