You installed the wires to a light fixture? Doesn't that mean that the ringfloodlight camera will only be on if you decide to flip the switch from inside the house?

That’s why you install a wire nut behind the switch to constant power source. Then it will always be on

I am confused, Don’t you have to have the copper wire go around the green screw so it’s grounded properly? That’s what the other video did what is the difference?

You should use the app to cut them off and on or set motion settings and schedules.

Common for older houses. You have no ground wire.

You only need this camera, Wi-Fi, and power. You don’t need any other device

If you get your conductors in the wire nut correctly you don’t need electric tape. Just another thing to make it look more messy and more sticky

It is a short and simple but the video is fast you can't watch it, if you're going to make a video for people to see how you do something then slow it down so they can see how you do something.
