It dose take a while to build up the wrist flexor strength to hold the false grip under load for a decent amount of time. Most peoples skin and bone around the wrists will also need to toughen up as well.

For the first wrist mobilization exercise. A good thing is to close the hand, it will increase the intensity and be closer to reality with hands wrapped around the rings. Otherwise good tutorial. Good that you point out to be slow and cautious. The false grip took me quite some time to get used to.

Thank you soooooo much!!!! I had struggle with this so long, could already do bar muscleups and +50kg pullups :D but wasnt able do perform the correct movement for the ring muscleup. I just tried what you said and i could do the ring muscleup instantly!!!! Unbeliveable!!!! ❤️

We've taught at a workshop in London where 5 of the group all did there first muscle up in 5 minutes!!!! Its true! - Jacko (yes they were already strong at pull ups and dips so just needed to learn false grip and the technique for the transition movement pattern).
