LOVING your home reno videos. I'm currently in that process myself and i feel ya in terms of feeling like everything is a mess (but it will soon look ace). Also, doing it yourself - it saves so much money. My mate paid almost £2.K to paint her 2 bed flat (just walls). I'm painting everything myself too as need to pay for bath and garden reno (the quotes were like "it costs how much>" . thanks for the valspar matching tip. I go to Brewers Decorating centre and they do it slightly differently in that they don't scan (or at least i didn't see them scan), they put in the brand name and colour name. However, there are some shades that they can't do in every finish e.g. I went for F&B Calamide and they were like you have to get it in another finish (it looked no different but its worth knowing). Can't wait for your other videos x

Oh emma emma why dont you turn the extra guest room into a walkin closet? I mean how often are guests coming? 2 or 3 times a year at most? I see u have so many clothes and it is what you do for living , it is easier to keep all clothes together upstairs becos its is easier for u to change and creating outfits in heated rooms . Moreover simon can use the whole garden room for himself downstairs, its a win win situation!
@EmmaHill4 жыл бұрын

Have you seen on Pinterest where you can order swatches of colors for the wall and they are like big plastic stick on squares so you can look at the colors? I think you can order different colors from different paint manufacturers. I was going to try this rather than the paint sample bit. Have you ever thought of a murphy bed so you have room to move around when no one is staying over?

No I haven't but it sounds like a great idea 👍
