Probably more time, more space, prop artists that are gods, and so on. GE is great. Constant improvements based on fan reactions, because you can't release a million movie cuts. Also, let's not forget the actors who are there every day making this place come alive.

A lot of peoppe dont like it cause the land was just made to be a cash grab..its not a planet its literally a market place made for you to buy things unlike harry potter where its actual places in the story and the stores or little locations fit into the story. The themeing of Galaxy's Edge may be amazing but its just literally a land for you to spend money and try to ride 2 special rides....Yeah some people may have hate for no reason but i wouldve loved if the park made it a real planet that already existed so you can relive a story or even if a new planet not just make it soley a market place where at most while i wait to get ready to go on a ride or get a lightsaber i cant just look at stores or a kinda boring desert landscape

I think $120 isn’t bad for a full day at a park with high quality rides and entertainment isn’t that bad. There are concerts and broadway shows that last about two hours that I’ve paid more for. If price is a problem though I suggest getting an annual pass. It’s only $130 down then $20-$60 a month depending on which pass you go with. Plus you can plan a few trips to go on throughout the year and not have to worry about getting tickets.
@AndreFoster4 жыл бұрын
Hannah Eigsti I’m a Florida resident and I have the platinum pass. It’s $900 but monthly it’s about $70. I think Gold is the best bc it only blackouts Spring Break and the busy times around Christmas which I avoid anyways.

So I actually work at Hollywood Studios in Guest Relations. I got to see the land while it was still being built, got to build a droid in vast previews and I drive by the hotel that's being built on my way to work. I also have to deal with all the people who dont get a boarding group or who do but then the ride breaks down. It's interesting to hear about an outsiders perspective because I was in this world for so long before it happened. The green milk is definitely better. And the skyliner is amazing. There are already changes made to the boarding group process since this video came out. But cast members are blocked for the foreseeable future in Orlando, and even when they do let us back in we will be blocked from getting boarding groups, and they didnt have cast previews for Rise of the Resistance so most cast members haven't been on the ride yet.
@mdotwilightluver5564 жыл бұрын
I'm LA-based so still waiting for our Galaxy's Edge in Disneyland to have Rise of the Resistance open but I must say I'm really excited for it. Smuggler's Run was fun the first couple of times but you said exactly what I think, if you're with a group who doesn't understand what's going on, if YOU don't understand what's going on, or if kids are controlling the ride it isn't the best. I also love being a driver but am eh on the other two options. I just think the ride is way too dependent on what happens and you won't know until you're sitting on the ride. Not a bad ride at all though, super creative! Also, as someone who has an AP to the parks, I've never said "hey let's go over to Galaxy's Edge after this ride" simply because I feel like I've done everything it has to offer. I can't pay for the expensive saber or droid, and I can get food anywhere else in the parks so...

There needs to be context added to this review. 1. These lines are based on season tourist traffic. I went on day 1 before tourist season begun and got to the park at 8am and got a pass. As we moved closer to holidays the lines outside park got bigger and bigger but that’s because parks were at capacity which only happens during Christmas holidays usually. Don’t blame Disney on this blame the excitement of people who want to experience the best ride/experience in Orlando currently. 2. It’s $120 for the entire Hollywood studios not just galaxys edge. I’ve seen comments of people thinking this is just to get into galaxy edge or only for GE. It’s the entire park with many other attractions. 3. Why are Star Wars fans complaining about too much immersion? You went 17 years between original and prequels. Then another 10 or so years to last trilogy. Now Disney is giving you a chance to be inside the universe. Galaxys Edge is insanely immersive with a storyline within the saga going on. It doesn’t spoil anything nor require you to know you enjoy the Star Wars universe. It’s similar to a book of a side story except you’re inside it. 4. $200 for a custom built light saber is correct however it’s more than just walking up and building one, it’s a total experience with excellent character actors who are cast members at Disney, a show and some exclusives that you can’t see anywhere else. These are high quality light sabers and not plastic toys. They put on an entire show for you so it’s not just walking up and handing cash and that’s it. Same with the droids to a lesser degree. For anyone who wants to see the entire light saber build show search for Savis workshop. 5. Search for Ordinary Adventures or Always Believe KZbin channels if you want a more inside look into what galaxy edge offers guests. It’s a more realistic look into what Disney has pulled off. Yes it’s for money, that’s the way the world works, but you can do things to make money in the world but also provide fans an incredible experience. I go almost weekly, some days i walk out with a $200 lightsaber. Some days other than my annual pass i don’t spend a dime in GE and just walk around and enjoy the insane level of detail Disney has put together creating a world for its fans.

This place has the structure of a "You HAVE to go multiple times to get the full experience" place and the pricetag of a "You can afford to go ONCE if you're LUCKY" place. Either needs to dramatically drop it's price or make it a HELL of a lot bigger. Just too small and too pricey for the average consumer. It would work much better as a free "part of the main park" land like all the others with the lightsabers being a much more manageable 50-60 dollars like most other big item toys disney has in the parks.
