Oh actually. Lemme tell you a lil story that my mom told me, however this isn’t a joke, lol. Back in the day In my mom’s grandparents days, the ppl in the village would actually prowl around the home of her aunt who was about to go into labor and give birth because they’re waiting for the fresh placenta. They do that because they’d take the placenta home to cook it cuz it’s very nutritious. When I heard of the story I thought, ew, isn’t that like borderline cannibalism? I was told that this was during the time when the country was still quite poor and even chicken eggs was for the special occasions but yeah to prevent a mob from literally fighting over the placenta, it was tossed into the pig pen. This was told to me a while ago so I’d have to ask again XD

No sir, buffalo placenta is a no go for me forever. I wouldn’t even try the own placenta of my wife and child. Nope, but sonny I appreciate you showing me this. I would have never imagined lol

The lady cooks and owners reminds of my Aunties and relatives in Cebu who own and operate their own carinderias (Filipino name for small eateries), ever since Covid I have not seen them, hopefully I can visit again and eat their food again. I wish for good health and safety to these lovely Thai restaurant owners.

I'm learning that even the young crowds in these counties are scared to eat their own culture exotic foods lol. I'm over here in America so curious to eat these rings 😂

It's not the food that we're afraid of, it's the parasite living inside it.

well, me as a young generation in Thailand. There's no guaranteed or clear evidence of eating these things is 100% safe, it's much like a lottery, since the educational are getting better and better now a day. Most of people are scared to try. I actually wanted to know the taste tho but the fact that my head knew that they were a soup of blood and cow shit's juice before becoming a plate of food? I'll pass xD
@SeaweedBeastboy2 жыл бұрын
We don’t care if it’s “cultural exotic food”. We care if it could lead us to hospital or death. The education is getting so much better here and younger people know this is very risky to try except there’s a guarantee that it’s safe.
