So many times i have been up to Petoskey State Park, Harbor Springs and Cross Village and yes M-119 the Tunnel of Trees since 2014 when we went up there for the first time for fall colors🍂🍁 But I have never stopped at Kilwin's... Upper Lower Peninsula is so pretty between Traverse City, Charlevoix, and our favorite State Park in Lower Michigan, the beautiful Wilderness State Park. I have never gotten to eat dinner at Legs Inn in Cross Village because we go in Fall and get there around 7... but maybe someday we will find an open pair of seats 😁 or make a reservation lol. I have never stopped at Good Hart General store either, because it is also packed during Fall color season. But we always make it a point to visit the MiPeninsulas store across the street from Legs Inn! Maybe someday we will get a few days off and explore the whole upper Lower Peninsula and have time to do more things. Usually it's a day trip drive to Petoskey and the Tunnel Of Trees and then a look to get pictures at the Mackinac Bridge then head home, getting back home around 1am after seeing the beatiful sunset at the Bridge. Also, there are three lighthouses in Lake Michigan from the backyard if Legs Inn. Waugoshaunce lighthouse, Gray's Reef light and the famous candy-stripe White Shoals lighthouse all lit up in the evening.

I am always glad to hear we were able to show you a few new things. The Leggs Inn was on our list and now I am really regretting that we did not get to go. Our plans were a bit out of wack when we didn't get to explore Traverse City but I guess that is just another reason to take the boat across lake Michigan and get back to the Upper UP. It is so incredibly beautiful.

@@Lovenesters any time you get to ride the S.S. Badger would be a good time! Or the ferry from Milwaukee to Muskegon which is twice as fast and gets you across in 2 hours instead of 4.
