I’ve had the 5S for a while don’t really need to upgrade to the newer models or more expensive ones unless you’re doing really big group rides it’s not needed

Just purchased one of these! Very little info out there for the Voice Command function for SENA. I can get Siri to work with the rear red button and voice activation but can’t figure out how to get SENA to respond. Any advice?

HI Mike, thanks for watching and in answer to your question we found with most of the SENA units it's sometimes about how you pronounce the trigger word, try saying SEANA instead of SENA as apparently that's how it's pronounced and i would update the software if you haven't already done so. @@RoadRashTV yes already make sure of it for several times, i even check it regularly in day 1 and 2 that the condition of batter is still full. In day 3 the battery is dried out. I try compare with my smh5fm, i left it for more than a week butbthe battery still there. I ask the seller about it and he said it is normal. I wonder if other user also experience same thing.

Its not something that i have come across and doesn't sound like it should discharge itself like that but i wiil keep you informed if anyone else comments on it

My 5s has an incredibly loud and ear-piercing "ding" at random times. One consistent time though is if you rotate volume to max, then it makes a very loud "ding" that ruins this unit for me. Anyone else have this issue? I tried to reset it, fiddle with settings with no change.

You can always replace the battery for one with more mAh! I just replaced my old SMH5 FM battery for a 500 mAh one, stock was 400 mAh. 😎

Hey Fatur thanks for watching and thanks for commenting, although it's hard to give you a full list of units the 5S will connect to sena say it will connect to pretty much anything on the market today using Universal Intercom. This allows you to have two-way intercom conversations with users of non-Sena Bluetooth headsets. You can pair your headset with only one non-Sena headset at a time. The intercom distance depends on the performance of the Bluetooth headset to which it is connected. When a non-Sena Bluetooth headset is paired with the Sena headset, if another Bluetooth device is paired via Second Mobile Phone Pairing, it will be disconnected. Ps. He Maxjoe first of all thanks for watching the review.. i guess nothing workes as well with gloves, but yes its ok as jog-dials tend to be with gloves but it sort of becomes irrelevant if you get used to using the voice functionalities. Used now 1 year for Sena 5S and those units is total garbage. Sound quality ia bad and constant connectivity issues. Avoid Sena 5S if you can.
