there was a husband and wife that worked were i do for a little bit last year they both drove smart cars and would park them both in the same spot, they each had a key to the others car so who ever got off and didnt have to work 12s could drive the one in the front home

The thing to understand about kei cars is the passenger compartment is the same size as most sports cars, it’s the trunk, engine, and door flourishes that are all squished down. Think “supercar escape pod” and you have the right idea.

Good times... My 1991 civic got about 32 mpg flat, highway and city, when I first got it. A slight intake mod got me about 50-60 mpg highway (70mph), 40ish city. So fun. It's been dead for a long time now though - needs a lot of work.
