Robocop runs on Windows in Rogue City

Excited to play it! That being said, I would have loved the scan lines on by default and it bothered me that Robocop picks other guns to use. Also, the gun reloads aren't faithful to the movies (1 and 2, no one cares about the rest). The iron sights thing could make sense, if you think cyberpunk 2020, where you need a targetting computer with a smart weapon for it to work. So it could just be that only robocop's main weapon is "smart" with IR laser and scope camera connected to the targetting computer. You can, maybe see hints of this in the movie as the computer needs to be realigned to the gun. With all that, it would make sense to have the auto-aim thing as, clearly, Robocop does not need to be looking at the target once he scanned it. The gun acts directly with the computer and the weapon itself is the "eyes". Like you said, and maybe as a cool down ability with the gun, it would be great! Just press button and murphy's arm would shoot off one of the targets that you are not aiming at. What cool upgrades would that open up, both for the computer and the gun.

For some reason the shooting in this game reminds me more of the likes of Virtua Cop than any modern FPS. I'm not sure that's necessarily a bad thing though

Of course he runs on Windows lol. He’s a dystopian nightmare framed as the “good guy”. Aka the whole point of the movie

@@unacomn ah right. I think this one is better at dealing with recency bias. Also, I'm sure that you know about Warren Spector's "One city block game" discussion. I think Shadows of Doubt might be a suitable candidate for this. I hope you cover it on the channel at some time in future.
