So the audience comment that you have as "you'll like (unitelligible)" at 6:02 after Stephen Fry says "Two small words" is actually "Like Q.I." (the tv show he hosted for many years). I only know this as I was the one that said it 🙂 They didn't throw me out by the way.

Its also just so awesome that the actors, who for the most part just stay in character and continue the scene, will sometimes just break the forth wall and incorporate it into the scene. I think the movie did what they could with forth wall breaking to involve the audience, but from everything I've scene the audience interaction is what MAKES the play and it works so well with a live audience for the cast to play off of

@@Ozloz there’s a few resources you could look up online. Most things people just learn by going to a show and picking up on what others say. Other times if you think of something that would work you could just shout it out and add to the chaos lol. One of my favorites that I heard for the first time recently was when Brad and Janet arrive at the castles front door and we see the weird looking gargoyle statue thing by the door, someone shouted out “hey look it’s Scooby Doo on acid and he’s into bondage”😂😂

I think another favourite is when Frank sings, "whatever happened to Fay Wray?" then someone shouts so he just looks them dead in the eye and says "me sing - you listen." And then just starts again 😂

I'm about to take my 16 year-old daughter and my 20 year-old son to Rocky Horror soon for their first time. Back in the '90s their father played Riff Raff in the shadow cast and I was a regular in the audience. But when I was about 5 years old, my mother used to take me to Sunday matinees of Rocky because then she didn't have to pay a sitter (she'd cover my eyes during graphic parts, lol). I remember getting a squirt gun, newspaper and other props out of the glove box on our way there. Then she started taking me again once I was 16 and I truly fell in love with it. So three generations of our family will soon have fond memories of Rocky Horror, thanks to The Clinton Street Theater in Portland, OR, which has been continuously showing this film longer than anywhere else in the world. Even during the pandemic closure, one or two theater employees would show up every week to watch it, for 54 weeks solid, just so the streak remained unbroken. Now that's dedication. 💋

1:19 they say “zieg heil” which is 😬 don’t do that. I’m a RHPS performer, and my cast asks our audience to leave out jokes that involve saying that, doing the salute, or any Holocaust jokes. If you’re gonna make Nazi jokes, it should be to absolutely ridicule them and not leave a scrap of dignity for them to have.

Yeah they do! There’s a long rich history of it that (if I remember right) came from people going to see the movie version so many times that they started doing a back and forth with the screen, then it got adapted into the live show? I’d have to look it up to be sure. It’s so much fun in person

Nice work, but 10:32 is not true! The intro of the Eddie song in my opinion is one of the best opportunities for audience callbacks, at least during the film. Here, Dr. Scott didn't leave so much space after his Mutter's side, but had someone yelled "Not the night, but the day" loud enough after the first line, he may have slowed it down a bit. From the day he was born (Not the night, but the day) He was trouble (Not Monopoly, but Trouble) He was the thorn (Not the rose, but the thorn) In his mutter's side (Not the front, but the side) She tried in vain... (Both the artery and the vein)
