I appreciate the fact you’re actually admitting his weaknesses. I’ve been trying to say the same things when discussing the clear fact that MHJ and Nabers are both much better than Rome is tho Rome is a good prospect. 🔥🔥🔥
@thevoxdeus9 ай бұрын
Neither of those is "much better" than Odunze. They're different players with different strengths and weaknesses. If you look at ratings from scouts, the gap between these 3 receivers is typically .1 to .2 on an 8-point scale. A majority of scouts have MHJ #1, a smaller number have Nabers #1, and an even smaller number have Odunze #1, but there are some people who have him #1 based on his completeness and contested-catch ability. In short, Odunze is generally considered the third best WR prospect, but there's not a big gap in overall ability. In the 2023 draft, Odunze would have been the clear #1 WR, but the 2024 class is loaded.
@John_TalksGiants9 ай бұрын
@@thevoxdeus that’s your opinion. Mine is that he’s not close to the top two receivers. Agree to disagree 🤷🏽♂️
@thevoxdeus9 ай бұрын
@John_TalksGiants You have that statement backwards. It is *your opinion* (which you stated as a "clear fact") that Odunze is "much worse." It is an actual *fact* that most scouts do not see a large gap in overall ability between the top 3 WR prospects We don't *disagree*, because I have not even told you my own opinion. In fact, I don't really have an opinion because I haven't bothered to study prospects, because that's not what I do. It's why I appreciate channels like this. That said, it is my *opinion* that Cardinals, Giants, and Bears fans are all going to be happy with the receivers their teams drafted, even if they don't all wind up being equally good.

@@camdencapps6894 Not as many as you think. So many of those fades he caught were with almost no separation. Its like the dbs were running the route for him but just couldnt make a play on the ball. Look, I think hes an incredibly skilled player. Does a lot of think really fricken well and will probably be nice player. I just dont think he has the elite burst to be a high end #1 receiver in the nfl which is what you better be getting if youre using a golden ticket top 10 draft pick on him. As a lifelong Packer fan, I see how they keep churning out really really good receivers with 2nd round draft picks so Im stingy when it comes to receivers in the 1st. They better knock my socks off and Odunze just doesnt do it for me. Hopefully he proves me wrong cuz the NFL needs all the great players it can get.

@@camdencapps6894 I dont have that number in front of me. I know Odunze had an insane contested catch rate and likely better than Chase's. @@disthymia6929idk. I saw a lot of Penix knowing who he had on the outside and giving them a chance. He’s not throwing jump balls in double coverage.
