Quick tip for the memory card deal. Keep the SD card door open while there isn't a card in the camera and the next time you pick it up it will be noticable.

I’ve never tried honestly. I sold the truck 3 years ago so I can’t try either.. new Ram is antenna-less so never bought another at all since the white Silvy.

Those 'big ass floppy antennas' exist because physics... anything shorter gets you poorer reception...but you've already figured that out by now....

I have been wanting to switch out mine as well with a 50 cal bullet. I also have a 2018 Silverado but didn't think it would install flush but thanks to your review I am glad to see it does. Have you noticed much change in your reception?

A little... When HD Radio comes in, its flawless, but when HD radio isn't found, it's a little less clear than it was with the OEM antenna.

I bought a black Recon antenna and have to say it is pure garbage. Reception sucks and the black finish faded out with in 6 months. I'm curious to see how ronnin is.

Devin Chavez I like the ronin.. it’s been on the truck for well over a year now and it’s still nice and black. I don’t listen to FM radio really so the loss off radio reception doesn’t bother me but I still get most channels fine if browsing through.

I actually broke my antenna at a carwash so I had to replace the antenna base and I went ahead and added the 50 cal. It's a different brand but I really liked the color scheme. I made a video on how to change the antenna base because it was pretty difficult

The Ronin antenna was not good for me. Couldn't get any radio stations. Went with a RECON antenna and crystal clear HD FM radio and AM radio. I got mine directly on their website gorecon.com
