Hi, I’m Chris, the guy who was watching while initially recovering from my stroke in November. You inspired me to work hard and get back into Framing and building. I just finished a 52 x 11 room in the top of a warehouse not bad for a guy who had a stroke almost a year ago. Thanks for all your inspiration still watching.

Great deer! Love those two hanging out there. You need to google my friends bow harvest in CO. Bill's Beast of a buck. That will bring up a picture for you. Velvet bow. At the time it was #4 mule deer in the world. We went back for rifle later in that year and it was to maybe get a chance at the other three bigger bucks that were with the one that he got. Never got to see them though. ❤

Didn't dawn on on me until this episode how much this reminds me of the lean-to we camped in when I was a just a lad. The front was open and all three sides were board and batten. I don't think we finished the wood at all. Just let it go to barn wood. It was all rough sawn (built in the 60s) We screened the front and had some kind of flap for a door and a fly to keep the smoke out if the wind came up. It was a peaked roof. The front roof had a short brow and I'm pretty sure a shake roof. More Adirondack style. It had Lots a cots and I think is was 8 by 16. After my Dad sold the farm after I was long gone into the Navy (the lean-to was up in the wooded part of the property) it did some time as a chicken coop and a pig pen with the new owners. It was up off the ground so it was good for chickens, I don't imagine so good for pigs. Last time I visited (it's on the east coast in NY state, I'm on the west coast) in 2016 it was pretty much derelict, full of junk, over grown in what was the clearing and I can't confirm this, but I imagine there are a few thousand mice living in it. It was our vacation property for many years. My Dad had a reversal of fortune and we ended up living on it and from it in the 70s.

@@LifeontheMoose I like the instant chuckles I get out of things. Your experience with doing these videos have drastically improved in so many ways. And I'm saying this from my third round of watching. I learn and forget, re-watch later and "Ahah!". Then now If I want to re-watch a detail, I can fairly easily find it again. This episode, when you were sweeping the roof reminded me about when I was building my 12x32 shed. My neighbors, Mary and Alen would walk over after work to see if I needed a hand. One day, busy working on the floor, Mary comes over to see how she could help. The floor had a lot if leaves that needed swept off. I handed her the broom and said "Here, you know what to do". About an hour later Alen gets home and comes over. I told him what I said to Mary, then didn't see her sweeping with the broom, not even standing on the 12x32 floor. Told him I looked around, then looked up, shouted up at her " YOU - GET - DOWN - HERE - RIGHT - NOW!!!" Yeah, she knew what to do with a broom. Wore a few bristles off of it flying it around. 😁 @LifeontheMoose a
