Its patch day, so shockingly enough I got a patch breakdown video for you, crazy right!? Ghostface is out, and we got a patch full of a lot of juicy buffs in NRS's continuing trend of solid patch after solid patch. So lets dig in, with timestamps naturally (and hit like for timestamps ya frigs, I see other channels, nobody is as consistent with timestamps like I am, smash button and all that), and learn the magic of Geras getting a Mid Grab back!

Geras finally got what I wanted from him on day one. Last year when I was in Chicago at NRS headquarters I begged Tyler to make sure Geras's grab was a mid. It took a hot minute but we are finally there lol.

Creating new combo routes like they did with reiko is always welcome. Even if it’s not a meta combo just having different openings you can convert off of creates unpredictability rather than just looking for the opponent to do the same few moves

It doesn't have to be said, it should be assumed by this point, but I shall say it anyway. This is why I love this channel. You always give so much useful information with these patch videos Roof. I love the fact we get examples which can demonstrate the changes. Personally I think Mortal Kombat 1 is in a really good place these days. I am loving the game so much that I sometimes play it more than once a day. Awesome new costumes, towers of time now mean I don't get stuck in invasions so much, good changes to the characters keeping them fresh and there is more than that.

As someone who NEVER plays online but like both franchises equally, I still continue to play MK1 while I've slowed down on SF6. Every month there is always something to earn on MK where the only buzz for SF6 recently was Terry and if you don't care about him your SoL.

Not really. Its a buff with minor nerfs. A trojan horse. It rewards yolo slides gameplay and with the iceclone hitbox nerf, closes his good conversions on his F3,4 and 3,4 combos. You can still get it, but you gotta have really good timing. He also lost his pressure corner with his mid starter combo not being able to freeze the oponent (again).
