Taking a week off is hardly a break! Please take more time if you need it, or at the very least start back with some content that writes itself and is easier to make. I'd much rather wait longer between videos instead of having you risk burning out completely and not wanting to do KZbin at all anymore.

every time I watch a Rose video she makes a remark that is so harrowingly real that it throws my mind into a void space both full of thought and completely empty and then in the distance I hear her say some insanely accurate comparison that is so powerful that it thrusts me back into the real world. I find myself rewinding her videos so often because she’ll say something so profound I need to hear it more that once to really process such bold levels of honesty that I need reflection within myself… putting out videos like that week after week has got to be emotionally exhausting. Glad she’s recognizing the need for a break and taking it.

Reminder that Ron is no more correct than Ro. It can be very easy to become convinced the cynic in your head is the truthful one because of their ability to cut down any and all arguments you make. But they can do that because they’re inability to feel positivity confines the world they live in to their own observations. Ro has hope, which Ron sees as pathetic and self-aggrandizing. Ron’s wrong about hope. Am I projecting my own psyche onto an internet stranger who I know nothing about? Yes. Do I love that stranger for their ability to make me see myself in their art? Absolutely.

I don't know how literal the "split" was but as someone who struggles with dissociation this was just. Way too relatable. The part about catering to niches, and the overall arching message that that is what lets you survive on this platform? Valid. Everytime I see an ad or get 2 unskippable ads in a row and take that time to contemplate the platform, it's gradual shift to this sort of... nightmare currency of our time and energy. It's like being doused with water, and your clothes are still soaked from last time but now you're chilled to the bone all over again and it eats at you in a special way. I don't care if you're part of the system. As is commonly said, there is no ethical consumption under capitalism. I'm nonbinary, and I'm simply appreciative of a trans voice, and your perspective on things, because that is truly special. Many voices will echo your sentiment but you put the message out there, and you have united them, if only a small portion of the whole. Take care Ro, and thank you.

Honestly, while I think you always have an interesting and insightful take, most of the reason why your videos are special is because of your personality and your humor. I don’t care if you’re padding out the runtime, because what I’m watching for isn’t just the facts or opinions. We watch because we like you and your way of *delivering* those facts and opinions. If I just want the cold, hard facts, I can do my own research into something. So please know that you don’t need to be making ground breaking, entirely unique points for your videos to be worthwhile. Even if you were just regurgitating info from scholarly sources in an entertaining and accessible way, that would still be worth watching and would be helping people understand or think about complex topics that they may not have thought about before. And even when I already agreed and knew about something you covered, I still enjoy the hell outta your videos. What makes your videos special is *you.*

as someone who got diagnosed/medicated for ADHD during the pandemic (it's already been almost a year since then, good gravy) i want to express my empathy. getting diagnosed, given the fact We Live In A Society (that often only cares about whether or not your symptoms impair your ability to be productive within capitalism) can be labyrinthine and frustrating as hell, but getting meds and the validation/explaination that there's... a reason for why I'm like this was a major help for me, personally. thank you for making these videos, i hope you enjoy your break -- guiltlessly, if possible! smoochies, o beloved internet personality Ro Rurnham /lh

i loved the contrast between the two sides, how they're presented as the right and wrong sides, but then "ron" goes first and turns the video structure around. i can't really word it but their conflict is really well executed. there's probably some sort of symbolism there with how the red and blue lamps are dimmer when separated but the lights come on brighter and purple when they settle. there's a lot of food for thought.

You really articulated the vague feelings ive had about the direction youtube is going and incorporated the smaller points other people have made about it, and pulled out a poignant thesis on the 'content economy' i didnt know i was missing! Also seeing the color theory/lighting design start from the very beginning of the video and crescendo with the ro/ron dialogue was So Cool! it was an amazing touch that put this video over the edge of being my favorite of your work! definitely one of the best commentary videos ive seen all year.

I genuinely love all of your videos. I love the comedy, I love the ends, I love the sketches, I love the overall message you give, and I ESPECIALLY love the "giving a dog a gun" jokes. I play these as something I can listen to while I go about my life and they are just so enjoyable :)

Thank you for being vulnerable with your audience. It's heartwarming to see so many creators finding ways to talk openly about the burdens that come along with that. Not to mention, the artistry of it being so inspiring Take care of yourself 💙

Damn. Did not expect this video to hit this hard. That dialogue between the two selves was especially real and definitely mirrored a lot of conversations I've had with myself about the state of "content" and the act of "content creation" and trying to be authentic and do things I like while also keeping "the audience" in mind and the algorithm in your heart. It's a lot, and it's exhausting, and if it doesn't feel fun then it's definitely time for a break. Thanks for making this even though you weren't super happy with it. If nothing else, it feels good to see those feelings laid out like this, so thank you for not throwing this video away. Hope you have a nice break 🐈‍⬛

Ro your videos touch me in the same way TFB lyrics do, they are so hyper specific yet broadly relatable in the feelings they provoke. this was really artful in every way, and i adore your music in the background. your work is my favourite on this platform, i promise your effort isnt unseen.
