Rose cane - polymer clay tutorial 602

As promised, a rose cane tutorial. I will be posting later one or two more, in different styles and expertise levels, and of course, we'll do some projects with them.
I used Premo with a white/fuchsia/cadmium red/alizarin crimson combination for these. Of course you can make your own colors, I will advise against using yellows unless you have a terrific sense of color as it is a bit tricky to get the same effect noticeable enough if you use yellows.
Otherwise, this cane looks good in any color.

At the beginning, you stated you added the translucent clay so that the red & crisom colors don't mess up your pasta machine, correct? Then you folded it & cut it to put the red back on top without the translucent. Should we add more translucent here as well?🤔🌹

If you add a small amount of translucent to red it will make it less "stainy" and less prone to leak the color too much to the translucent. The clay I folded and cut was already mixed with translucent.
