What is the reason, other than color, for castin craft? I'm using Mika pigment powders and wondered if it will give me the same results?

It spreads more and gives a feathery effect. Also great.for lacing on ocean art.

May I ask, what temp do you class as 'low' for the heat tool please? We can't buy Castin' Craft in England, how much opaque white pigment should I use instead please? These look amazing x

My gun only has 2 settings, low and high. Just be sure its not blowing on your resin too hard that it splashes. If you're using pigment powder, use just the tip of a wooden stick to scoop...maybe an 1/8 tsp.

Its liquid and gives great effects. Lacing on "ocean" pieces, drawing flowers with it, etc.

12 hours it can be taken out of the mold. 24 hrs. it will be hard. Fully cured in a few days.

Amazing! 1 question, why the woollen gloves when demoulding?

Because I have zero patience and I want to demold them right away LOL ideally I should wait 24 hours, but I take them out at 12 hours. Wearing the gloves prevents fingerprints. :-)

The top you're looking at when pouring. The bottom is what's touching the bottom of the mold.

Depends on the reisn and its working time. If I'm using Unicone, I use it right away. If I'm usimg Art Resin, I wait 10-30 minutes depending on the look I'm going for.
