Hi guys first video of 2023!
Finally getting the hang of rowing machines and starting to see some good results.
My rowing workout:
Week 1 - 1000m (1.5 minute rest at 500m)
Week 2 - 1500m (2 minute rest at 750m)
Week 3 - 2000m (2 minute rest at 1000m)
Week 4 - 2000m (1 minute rest at 1000m)

I bought a cheap rowing machine about 10 years ago and the transformation after using it for just a few months was unbelievable! I used to do two 15 minute sets a day. Several years later and I’m a lot more unfit and fatter. But having just turned 30 now is the time to fix that before it gets trickier to shift the pounds!

Great video! If you decide to keep erging I would recommend a few things for your form: 1. Try to finish the stroke with your handle right below the nipples as opposed to above 2. Try keeping your back straight the whole stroke. Angled forward while going up the slide, then swinging back after you drive the legs, all while keeping the back straight, helps lower back pain a lot. Picture a metal rod going from your skull to your tailbone and you need to keep it straight 3. Make sure you get the hands past the knees before the knees come up while going up the slide. I still do this and I’ve been rowing for years, so it takes practice! Otherwise great vid!

Just so I'm understanding, the first week he rowed 1000m per day (say 3minutes 30seconds per day), 2nd week 1500m (~5minutes) then weeks 3 and 4 2000m (7 minutes)? If so that is impressive results for so little time spent exercising, did he do anything else ie diet to achieve his results?

Great question as I am barely starting and enjoy it already but I started off doing 5minutes of rowing after my weight and cardio workouts hopefully I see results soon, I’m trying to lose weight.

My idea for me Week 1: 3-4K M Meters Week 2: 3.5-4K Meters Week 3: 4K-5K Meters Week 4: 5K Meters I’m 5,3 Ft 188LB with 33% BF where will I be with this results.

Good work! Great video! I used to row with a basic hydraulic rowing machine. I would listen to the music soundtrack from the movie Flashdance while rowing! Eventually the plastic wheels under the seat wore out so I got rid of it. I am thinking of buying another cheap one and getting back in the saddle! I usually walk for an hour each day but not so much in this cold weather!

I have a classic german type rower,you pull both"paddles",when you finish,you can sit facing the other way and push them,it's versatile,you don't need a fancy machine.

Yea I've discovered you can do rowing exercise without any equipment. Burpees is a exercise does the same to your body xD. I was searching for home full body explosive workout and found burpees. @@wonderwoman5070

Just bought my indoor rower should have never gotten rid of it started with 2000 M went to 2500 then 3000 to 3500 to 5000 tonight 6000m. Want to hit 10K by September 1st

I actually was recommended this trainer today and then found this. My current routine is to climb a gravel slope 100x a day near a train track / viaducts, in 2 hourly sessions of 50x each, and each climb is 7,5 height meters. So 750hm a day. You should try this. This takes me 2h+, but I did lose 2.7 KG in just 5 days. But today it's raining, so for an indoor alternative the D PM5 CONCEPT 2 was recommended to my by a fitness sales who works for Decathlon, a big European fitness chain.

This is how much he rowed Day 1-14 1000 metres daily Day 15-30 1500 metres daily I have read comments saying that rowing 10.000 metres takes 50-60 minutes so i Gues that Billy rowed for 15 to 20 minutes
