This is a short video showing my son shooting my Glock 21 which has been converted to .460 Rowland. In the past couple of days, we've put 250 rounds through this gun with 0 malfunctions. We'll put 300 or more through before we start to feel secure with this gun. The setup is as follows...
Glock 21
Compensator from 460Rowland.com
Rowlanator from 460Rowland.com
.460 Rowland barrel from 460Rowland.com
+166% Mag springs from 460Rowland.com
10 Rounds, single-stack magazine from ebay (made by Glock)
22 Pound recoil spring from ebay (made by ISMI)
When using the double--stack magazine that comes with the Glock 21, I was having feeding problems that were somewhat eased by doubling-up magazine springs. However, once the single-stack was used, the feeding problems disappeared. Here's what I've shot so far...
200 rounds of Georgia Arms - .460 Rowland 230gr Speer Bonded Unicore Hollow Point
50 rounds of .45 ACP +p from Buffalo Bore - 230 grain jhp
I have 200 fmj handloads on the way, and 160 rounds of Underwood.
If I get through the next 360 rounds cleanly, I'll feel like I can trust the gun.
