I've been working today(sunday) and just got home looked up KZbin videos released today and here you are. On my way home the himalayan just begged to taken round country roads and enjoy the sunshine. Its just fun and enjoyable to ride. If you were in a car you'd just want to get home but on the himalayan you just want to see where that little road you never been down before goes. You don't worry about the road conditions because the himalayan will manage whatever comes along. £4699 uk price. Acf50 spray when you clean it helps keep the corrosion away.

Nice one mate! Great comment! I know how that feels to be excited to take those little roads never ridden before! Sometimes the roughest roads have the best views and the himmy eats it all up with ease, acf 50 aye will have to give that a try 😀

I have owned my UK Himmy from new since june 2021 love it! ..i gave up my 1000cc+ adventure bikes as i got bored with them, last one was bought new in 2018 £17,500 BMW R1200GS 'Rallye', i sold it back to the dealer after 3 yrs with only 1350 miles on it and took a £10k loss on new price, and have never looked back!, the Himmy is my soul mate , its not about how fast you get there its the chilled out journey seeing the scenery that counts and i now ride the country roads where ever i go, BUT it is like a mountain goat off road, nothing will stop it..it goes anywhere and will not leave you stuck 😁 I have loaded it up to the max for a few days away camping and it still rides the same with no power loss noticeable and use it as a commuter in all crap UK weathers all seasons and it has been faultless 👍 I also have a 2022 Interceptor beside it with a pair of UK made Maxtorque cans on it..sounds awesome, but only use that on a nice day, the Himmy is my 100% little work horse and my first go to bike 💪 keep loving the Himmy mate...brill channel you have and deserve every sub you get, keep up the hard work 😁

I echo your comments about the Himalayan. And as an American, it's not too slow for me. My most recent video on my channel deals with riding it on Interstate highways and as you say, it will go all day at 70mph. For me, the main selling point was "slow and boring." I don't want the twitchy engine response of a Ducati Hypermotard or the weight of a big BMW GS. I bought my 2022 Himalayan to ride on the dirt and gravel forest roads where I live and it's outstanding for that. And to my happy discovery, it's great everywhere else too! You did a great job talking about the Himalayan!

The himmy is an odd one cos on paper it's slow. So it's understandable that people who have never riden one to get all up in arms about it. Yet when you ride one it feels literally fine, especially low down at speeds that you'll be doing 90% of the time. In fact when I ride mine I never think "god it's slow". You find yourself having too much fun thrashing it up and down the gears. On the point people make about the front brake being a tad weak, it is a little bit anaemic compared to other bikes BUT it's a single so use that strong engine breaking.

I think it would be fine for some people in the US. You can really go anywhere on regular highways with 60 mph speed limits. It just depends if you are in a big hurry, which this bike wouldn't be right for that kind of thing. I have an old 600 Honda Shadow and I don't care to take it on a freeway. I'd like to get a Himalayan, but can't afford it right now. It would be great on some old logging trails I can't go on with my Shadow and it gets better mileage. Why do you say they're jealous? The ones that don't need to do the free ways seem to love them. I'm a bit astounded how much people love these bikes generally. BTW i must admit, As a Brit i was wondering how I'd get on with one for motorway and even fast A road sections seeing as drivers merge into the main road without looking and it's safer to be in the fast lane past these sections (where drivers are often doing 80). On the ducati i have options of getting out of the way. On the himmy I'd probably be more vulnerable. That's not stopping me having a test ride today though!
