I love all their songs and songs like Tome Sawyer and Limelight may have topped the mainstream charts but this song is my favorite from Rush. The beginning intro always gets me sicked up before a football game.

I love that song “Diane Sawyer”. Me and Ricky. “Hey, play ‘I Like To Rock”. Alex: “That’s April Wine”. Ricky: “Then play that ‘Diane Sawyer’ song. Fucking play something, that’s what you’re here for”. When Ricky kidnaps Alex on that episode of “Trailer Park Boys” is one of the funniest skits EVER!

About 10 years ago I got a tortoiseshell pickgaurd for my geddy lee bass so it looks just like the one for this song. To this day I still keep it on my bass. Looks better than the white pickgaurd in my opinion.
