this video was posted 10 months ago just before ( or around the time ) Feb 28 the Russian invasion of Ukraine, a few Su-34 was shot down by portable handheld manpad anti aircraft missile. A lot of air combat military doctrine must be re-think and re-examine , maybe the equipment (designed decades ago ) does not work as well in the latest evolving combat environment or other factors which prevent the aircraft reach it's maximum efficiency . For example , the Russian 's shortage of precision munition which force Russian pilot to fly a lot lower to hit the target , but also got targeted by manpad anti aircraft missile .

Furthermore I want you to investigate why Russia is losing such a large amount of aviation despite being extremely sophisticated and ultramodern. The reason is that russian pilots may be new or untrained , for example in Syria, Russia's pilots were extremely professional at their jobs, however in Ukraine this is not the case. To add more Russia's maintenance of jets is not so solid nor reliable, moreover the jets fly at low altitudes meaning they are susceptible to man-PADS which is a grave threat to low flying combat aircrafts and jets.

Yes, modern fighter aircraft can. Btw. both Eurofighter and Rafale have about the same weapon load as SU-34 (ca. 9t). Both are capable to go supersonic in supercruise with weapons attached. And they would also be able to go transatlantic with inflight refueling, just like the SU-34, all 3 have a similar nominal range). So nothing special here. Still impressive and gorgeous to look at.

There are also the well documented problems within the Jet itself crashes that killed pilots. Instead of fixing the defects Lockheed Martin and the American government simply settle those cases. Meanwhile the Russians are way ahead of their safety and reliability of their aircrafts. Yet they invent wars for them to profit. And your soldiers are happy and proud killing the innocent Iraqis and Afghan and you call them Real American warfighting heroes.

Nothing after the 4th gen (included) is "aerodynamically superior", just designed to excel at different things. "Supermaneuverability" simply means high alpha maneuvers. The Su-27 and the F/A-18 are excellent at one circle (nose position fight) and just OK at 2-circle (sustained turn). The F-14 and the F-16 are fantastic at 2-circle and still capable at one-circle. The F-15 and the Mig-29 are decent at both. The F-22 Raptor and the Su-3x series with thrust vectoring are ridiculously good at one circle and low speed maneuvering, but not necessarily any better at 2-circle and the Mig-35 is top notch at both and probably the best all-rounder, even without thrust vectoring, but it's also the newest fighter on this list.
