Same. Peaceful isn't it? Especially after a really hot day. Lightening bugs and thunderstorms were always my favorite growing up. (And climbing trees). You could smell the rain coming and count the seconds from lightening to thunder as it moved closer. Rain at night and sunny days. I miss being a kid! 😊

Sadie girl is just the perfect picture of what a healthy, happy dog should look like. Her coat and teeth are beautiful and her muscle tone is perfect. RV life certainly agrees with Sadie. She looks so energetic, happy and healthy.

Sadie is SMART to be wary of any stream or body of water, if she senses it's even not that deep!!! Even though she, and another would love to go in the water, one has to be VERY CAREFUL not to be carried away by even a small stream - the small amount of water in a small stream can carry you - or a little dog away - right down the stream! (I'm recalling when, many years ago, I was taking photos when my feet were beginning to enter a very small stream, and was knocked off my feet - camera went in the water, as well - ruining my very new, expensive camera!) I'm overly cautious - I would have her wear her leash, or life jacket when she's in the water, except for the smallest, shallowish stream !!! Your dog is so wonderful! You are lucky to have such a beautiful, and good dog!

Sadie the duck wasn't too happy about all her feathers getting wet. I thought she was going to get the zoomies when she had the walleyed look. I love seeing your walkabouts and hearing the birdsongs and the screeching one too. Those wild plants are a treat too. I love your video's I turn them on first thing in the morning when I wake up. I make my tea and then I turn on your video and love waking up to watching Sadie and all the beautiful nature. I write down a lot of the locations that you visit so I know where to go when I travel. I love your spirit and your passion as I too consider nature very sacred. It feeds my soul. I love my solitude as you do and would only consider a dog as a companion, lol. Sometimes I take my boyfriend but I find traveling alone allows me to more centered and present with nature and spirit. Pretty area and so green. We could sure use rain on the Westcoast of canada. Too many forest fires from our lightning strikes. I enjoyed the storm as we don't have many on vancouver island. I was looking at that rhino flex hose earlier today just to price them, when I lived in MO back in 96 I had never heard thunder so loud in my life ! I’m from the East coast , it doesn’t thunder like that here ! I love the storms too , just keep that thunder down a few decibels ⛈😜

Even if you have no vinegar, just hanging things out in the sunshine and fresh air can do wonders. I have fond memories of helping my mom hang the laundry outside. Once the beds were made, the sheets and blankets would smell so good to crawl into! Washing all of that in an old wringer washer, however… not so fond of memories, lol.

You were literally about a mile from my house, I would have loved to have ice tea with you Carolyn!!! And would have had a salad fixed up, I would have had you throw the laundry in the washer while we chatted about your ventures here in Rapid City! That area that you camped after you ran your errands and laundry, that was Box Elder Creek, there is no river running through the South Dakota Black Hills. I don't know if you were here the week of the 26th, but if you were or are, it's hotter than blazes! Rapid City set the US high temp on Tuesday! I also hope that you came across some wild raspberry bushes out there in the hills, they are plentiful and amazing!!! They are so so wonderful! And hopefully you didn't cross paths with a bob cat or a mt. lion, yes they are in them thar hills!!! So hope you had or are having an amazing time!

I had no idea that S. Dakota would be so lush and green! I was worried for you two during that first storm. You definitely had some tornadic-looking clouds forming up for a while there, and I could just see all those tall, skinny trees turning into projectiles! Also....getting struck by lightning is a real thing. Just heard of a guy getting killed that way a couple of days ago. Its wonderful that you're a fearless female traveler, but please don't endanger yourself. Remember, we humans are 98% water, and also, you could leave poor Sadie a scared orphan out there alone. Only nagging you because I love your videos and hope to see many more if them, so take care! Sorry, but I've lived most of my life in Tornado Alley here in the Midwest and the Midsouth. I've spent many an evening sitting on the basement steps waiting for one to blow over!

The white vinager trick is true! It even helps with hor pee& poop smell.... half water half white vinegar, clean up the poop n pee in the barn or whatever, spray and bam. Smells alot better lol....(gotta let it dry )it works.

I am a under the bed kind of lady when it comes to storms. My childhood was filled with tornados. I been hit by lighting. They say lightning does not strike the same place twice haha that takes alot to convince me. After all these years i now have antennas for tornados or so my friends tell me.Again lols.

My dog barks at the thunder , she hates it ! You should get your pooch a cooling pad to lay on . You don’t need to freeze them or refrigerate them . Sierra Trading post has them .
