I could just imagine the power of that waterfall, the lovely rain and coziness of a book, the smell of zucchini bread baking, the spectacular fall colors, having my dogs nearby, the serenity of the pond, and the solitude and peacefulness of being on my own. I was backpacking near this area in August. Wet but gorgeous! New York does a great job with their trails and providing not-so-primitive campsites. And nothing more comforting than hanging out in your RV in the rain making zucchini bread!

I have two friends in Death Valley who are rangers. One has an archeology degree and the other has a biology degree. They are a couple too. :). Anyways they are the nicest people I know and for the most part rangers want you to be safe and have a great time.

My grandmother recipe from way way back when, is you slice zucchini and on stove in a little water. Then you drain the water and mash the zucchini and then add flour eggs and spices etc. The water in the zucchini keeps the bread so very moist. I’ve made it gluten free for my granddaughter by revising the recipe my way and it was delicious. Love zucchini bread!!

Carolyn I live in Pa. Yes fall is absolutely stunning on the east coast. Glas you got to see it. Where I live in southwest pa it seems that all the trees are bright orange this year. Have had a beautiful fall this year. We make lots of zucchini and banana breads around here. Some people add chocolate chips. Yes you are in one of our rainy seasons. It has been raining here, we are looking for snow now. Glad you are on the east coast to see how lovely it is. Good luck and God Bless. And please give Sadie a big hug and a kiss for me. Powerful water sources like that are great places to meditate if you are doing energy work. Engaging and harnessing that power for manifestation is something that has to be experienced, as it cannot be explained. It's the same with thunder storms and great winds. It's incredible.

Your in my neck of the woods now and as a retired homebirth midwife Ican tell you everyone is way to helpful in VT. Life is hard up here…and yes, we still wave to each other as we drive down roads…they probably noticed you were from out of state and wanted to be helpful.you are in a really nice spot. Glad you had a good experience here…I do usually feel like the rest of the world isn’t as humane as VT and the area I live in..in NH but only 3 miles from VT.

Absolutely Beautiful Trail.. I'm from back east and I miss it and all the beautiful fall colors and just year around flowers&greenery.. love the slow motion shots of the waterfall..💗 There's one thing that I don't get tho... people claim to love the wildlife in the areas that they visit yet with all the millions of campers out especially nowadays they let their dogs run loose and of course the dogs kill the beautiful wildlife.. I have been an animal activist since I was a child and As I Grew Older I have defended animals worldwide.. I have always had dogs and I didn't let them run loose and kill the wildlife.. and I didn't have them on a leash ..they always stayed close to me.. I would feel really bad if they had killed wildlife.. So hopefully people will Wake Up to this fact.. we are visitors and caretakers when we're out in nature.. we don't trash out the areas we're in and to me we don't let our dogs kill the wildlife.. I look at the broader picture of what's going on.. I think oh was that some one's mother or father or sibling that they just killed.. do you think the animals don't have feelings about it?? I thought we were supposed to care about all things??? The wildlife is disappearing quick enough as it is..
