For Roundup you could have said you were in Tupelo, Mississippi, and only people in Roundup and Tupelo would know the difference. Love seeing these towns. It takes me back to my childhood.😊❤❤

As you started to look around at your new campsite, I was yelling.. ' Drone Time ' but I wasn't sure.. it looked like there was some wind.. and I noticed we were getting near the end of this segment.. I so much wanted to see a view from above. and you said ' Drone time ' Perfect ! Then, as you were closing out and the Drone was coming down.. I was yelling ' Wave Russ.. the timing is perfect ! ' And you did... Thanks for all you do. L.W.

94 looks just like Hwy 2 in northern MT coming out of ND. Always drove hwy 2 fm eastern ND across MT W to Glacier NP. Then we'd go up to Waterton in Canada back E thru Calgary, Regina, to Winnipeg & drop S back to ND where we lived on the ND-MN border flatland prairie & Red River of the North. Brings back lots of memories on vacations with our kids.

Hey Russ! It may be flat but it's still beautiful! Big sky Montana! Drone shots of the canyon are awesome too. I've wondered, if you didn't have a YT channel, would you still narrate your journeys? You're too young at heart to ever get old! Thanks! Just what I needed today. 🙋♀️🌻

Excellent video. Say, perhaps you didn't realize. From the Townsend MT area east through Harlowton, Roundup and on close to Forsyth, where you hit I-94, there once existed an intercontinental railroad called the Milwaukee Road. It actually went from Chicago to Tacoma, Washington. Anyway, in 1980, it just shut down, overnight in that area. One last eastbound train came through and then nothing. Forever. Harlowton, Roundup, other towns just abandoned. Rails later torn up, all you see now is the old abandoned roadbed there. It'd be like if BNSF suddenly removed the tracks and abandoned say Kingman, Arizona. Very sad. On a bright note to finish, I've used your video to mark yet again another great campsite, your stop in Harlowton. Got many bookmarked now on my Google Maps. Keep up the great work.

How many of these towns have mostly empty stores? Wal-Mart moves in and downtown commerce is destroyed. When we are traveling we avoid the big box stores and shop downtown. This includes meals.

Hello Russ! 🙋 That Flag was HUGE! Another beautiful place to rest! Postcard picture perfect for sure. Looked like a nice breeze comiung through the way the trees were moving. When you picked up the Tillamook cheese that day we toured the lobby - I was wishing I could try some too. Well, our local grocers here in southwestern Va. got it in. They also carry a shredded cheese kit for macaroni & cheese with bacon in it by this company. Not sure about the ice cream yet - I never thought to look.
