how are rats supposed to not steal when humans won't let them use human money to buy stuff and are actively murdering them and showing it off in stores 😩😩😩
@rainndrops_goodvibes5257 Жыл бұрын
Fr I would never be mad if a hungry animal stole my food, especially a homeless one. I can get another, it would be much harder for the animal than for me to find more food.

There's actually a deleted scene where Gusteau is not only alive, but they explain that the frozen foods line is because of how dire their situation actually is, to get at least some money going into the restaurant.

7:09 dont forget: Gusteau is a figment of his imagination. Hes reminding HIMSELF.
@videohistory722 Жыл бұрын
There's a very impressive theory that the old lady in the beginning is Ego's mother, and also that Gusteau is Ego's brother! This is evidenced by the fact that she's wearing the same thing in Ego's flashback when she made ratatouille, and if you look, there is what appears to be a portrait of Gusteau hanging in the background. The theory is essentially: Ego's always been hard on Gusteau because he felt like Gusteau sold out, and thus dedicated his own life to preserving their mothers teachings and recipes. The dish that cost Gusteau one of his stars was the ratatouille dish, because it was a far cry from the one they ate when they grew up with. This also perfectly sets up the ending, because its not just the realization that it's delicious, it's the realization of, "They did it. They finally perfected our mothers recipe!"

Was it really confirmed that the old shotgun lady was his mother? I thought that was just a fan theory?
@madalyntrupka3866 Жыл бұрын
@laurainathunderstorm It actually has been debunked 🤣, but I like to think it'd just unintentionally added another level of depth to the storyline. Instead of thinking " I guess Remy just cooked the ratatouille correctly/he happened to use the same cookbook" I can think" the reason that Remy was able to cook the ratatouille to antons childhood one is because he used the exact recipe his mom used adding a layer of emotion in a sense

As a farmer I can tell you that yes, we need firearms. I have many in my home and they all serve a purpose. 12 gauge shotgun with birdshot for bird pests, .22LR semi auto rifle for rodent pests, .223 semi auto rifle for coyotes, .308 Win bolt action rifle for wild boar and bears, etc. It takes a lot of work putting food on your table. I'm mainly a beekeeper, everything loves honey.

Rats get a bad reputation for something that wasn't even their fault! They didn't cause the plague, they carried a flea that had the plague on it! There's even a featurette on this movies DVD that talks about it!
@primaitalia7534 ай бұрын
Rattan is a pest that brings diseases and epidemics. Whether it was caused by the enemy or not. They are also to blame for food going bad or becoming unsafe to eat. That is why cats have been man's best friend, as was the case with the ancient Egyptians and Romans, for example, who were allowed into their homes to eradicate the rat plague. Even if it is just an animal, and even if it is not their fault, they are still disease carriers like insects. That is why I would never be in a home or warehouse where rats are kept. Whether it is in a hygienic way or not. For me, they belong in the forest or in the sewer system.

I'm a french woman but honestly, I don't know a lot about the possession of weapons in France. I know some men have because they practice hunting but that's all. What happened to Ego when he eats the ratatouille is what, us french, call " une madeleine de Proust " meaning something who remind us our childhood (it can be anything). It's a reference of the french writer, Marcel Proust, who wrote in one of his book, that after eating a madeleine, the MC remembered the time when he went on his aunt's house, where she always gave him one after dipping it in her tea.

As a Frenchman, I'd say you can own guns here only under certain, very strict conditions (like, if you have a hunting licence). Overall, it's far less easy to have access to guns here than in some states of the US. And yes, Paris in real life isn't that pretty. Many cities in France look much better (and less dirty).
