Clinton Ontario is a 10-15 minute drive from my hometown of Seaforth, they're all small towns. I've met Ryan a few times when we were all high school age and I'm so happy to have Ryan on the Leafs!!

I just graduated from Civil Engineering and our Capstone project was designing different portions of The Port Lands. They need to remake the flood plane in the area because when they built it up originally they took the original flood plane and turned it into a right angle. Shockingly enough, that's not how water flows so if there was a flood of basically any significance, it would completely wipe out everything that's directly on the water. That's the main reason why this project is going to take so long, they are basically terra-forming the lakeshore.

Hey fellas love the show and your story about that hockey game being delayed due to the "ice resurfacing machines" being broken reminded me of a time of my home town team the Grande Prairie Storm of the AJHL had the hinges of the bench door break off and over the intercom they asked if there was any welders in the stands. And being a very oilfield driven town, there was so there is a picture on the internet of this welders truck on the ice fixing the hinges during an intermission I believe

What I've seen from Timmins over the last few years (which is a sparse I know because of all the time he's missed) is that he's at his best when he has consistent playing time. I think we already saw that this year when he played well over a good stretch of games. Then he sat out for several and now he's off his rhythm. I don't know if he just tries to do too much or what. If the Leafs make him a regular, I bet he'll be pretty good. If they continue to have him as the 7th D with a game every here and there, I think he'll stink. I just don't think he's a player built for sporadic playing time.

He has very few NHL games under his belt. I would say he will get more time next year as Holl is a UFA and being older, likely the Leafs won't resign him. Timmins will get his spot. But for now, he is #7.

Trade for Scott Mayfield. Islanders lost Barzal and they need a forward ... Kerfoot? Both these players are on expiring contracts. Mayfield (right-shot D) is big, physical, blocks shots, and has a reasonable cap hit. Can throw in Justin Holl to open up a roster spot for Knies. Then ask for a pick or two in the middle rounds. Just shooting out some ideas.

Love Matthew Kneis as a prospect but he's 100% the third best player on his college line . Cooley & Snuggerud are at least twice as good & will be NHL stars for the next 10 years . Just hope Kneis points are not because of the other 2 superstars.
