Yeah no. I don't want anything to do with a bunch of people I don't know any who probably have nothing to talk with me about. Especially since the music will probably be cranked up so you have to tell to hear anything anyway. I used to think I liked parties when I was a teenager. I think I was fooling myself. When I got older I realized I was never anything but very miserable at social gatherings. I like talking to a couple people I know, that's it. And why would I go out and suffer intentionally to get to know people I don't want to know when I can sit at home in peace and quiet in my own house. My own bathroom. I can sit in my own chair, lie on my own bed if I get tired. That's what I am talking about. Not trying to think of small talk that doesn't offend a bunch of people I don't know who can't think about anything outside the box or ask philosophical or moral questions. People don't like that, I found out. They know what is right and wrong, they don't like to be asked to explain why.

We always do get togethers at my house and it is so stressful. I spend the whole time making sure everyone else is having a good time while also keeping the fire going, manning the grill, setting up corn hole and horseshoe’s. It’s worth it though.
