Most people posting Honda acceleration videos you can find on the internet only start going full throttle just around when VTEC kicks in at about 5800 rpm, in an attempt to make the VTEC kick feel more powerful than it actually is. What garf117 appreciates is that the owner of the car in the video started going full throttle before VTEC kicks in, effectively allowing us to hear what it sounds like when VTEC actually kicks in at full throttle.

@@nvl2691 It happens, but you have to take in account cammed cars do crack vtec open REALLY loud. had stage 3 cams on my K20 and the sound difference in volume and tone was big - got some video proof of it too.

I think the cold weather on Sweden is favorable for the N/A F20C. The engine feels more happy and refreshed. I love how it screams at 8000 RPM. I'm a really fan of the Synth Electronic Pop in Sweden (Robyn, Icona Pop, Zara Larsson) and classical music (ABBA), but the music of roaring engines and angry exhausts wins.

how much improvement did it make? do you have any idea how many hp? i have a hatch vti and im thinking of getting an itb

I don't have an accurate before/after, but there are really good gains around 7k, maybe up to 20hp. To really benefit from the ITB's I would probably need more aggressive cams and maybe some more compression as well.

If you still have this car, Toda makes a new set of cams made specifically for ITB’s. They’re the Hyper cams

Grymt fin S2k! Sitter själv och funderar på hur jag ska få ut mer effekt ur min MEN vill inte ha överladd med tanke på besiktningen. Skulle du säga att ITBs och dom vanliga standard bolt-ons räcker gott och väl för att få upp effekten? Är inte ute efter en massa hästar utan körbarheten (vrid och mellan registret) då jag kör bana med bilen. Mvh

Tack :) Svårt att säga om det räcker men det gör rätt stor skillnad på karaktären. Man kommer rätt långt med ett vettigt avgas utan orgkatt, 3,5" CAI och en mappning (har kvar Greddyboxen åt dig :)

There is only one steering wheel and it's a Personal neo grinta, same wheel Ayrton Senna used 88-91 in his Mclaren Honda. It's very comfortable and I think it looks nice.

I try not to sum everything up so it's hard to tell :) I bought the Jenvey ITB kit second hand at around 1200USD but there are lots things for fueling, engine control and some fabrication needed on top of that.

hmm ok thanks , have you ever driven a stock s2000 to compare the ITBS too ? im wondering if its worth it cause turbo and supercharge is a waste of time cause the s2000 motors are high compression , even though you get 400 hp out of the engine , it dosnt make it any faster quarter mile time , theyve tested stock s2000 vs turbo and supercharged and the forced induction s2000s are only a fraction of a sec faster quarter mile lol so im just curious if you noticed a difference

After some dyno tuning it made 213hp on a dynapack, then without cat it made 232hp on a Vtech dyno :)

It costs money to go fast and yes a balanced car is more fun than an over powered high maintenance Dyno queen tbh that’s probably what 9/10 turbo S2000’s are. If you want 500hp buy a C6 Corvette ;) way more stable at high speed.
