It’s been 4 months since I watched this video. Keep finding myself watching it over and over and reminiscing about the 5 years I owned a 2011 9-5 Turbo 6.

Thank you M&M for continuing to provide these videos about the 9-5NG. I look forward to watching the new ones and even the ones I’ve seen multiple times to keep everything fresh in my mind. I owned 7-8 Saabs from 1983 to 2011. The 2011 9-5 was a Turbo6 in Granite Gray. Sadly I sold it in 2020 when my local shop and mechanic closed up. I was able to get parts by mail but can’t do the work myself. My son still has my 2004 9-3 ARC convertible with only 60,000 miles. It is stored most of the time but get to drive it couple times a year. No other brand has been able to satisfy me since SAAB. 😢 USA Maine

@@FredC-rq3to Your welcome 😍 thank you for watching :) I totally understand why you sold it same position here no mechanic but lucky to have a great workshop pretty close by. Parts situation is getting to be a mayor problem I think we will some mayor events unfold during the next year with parts suppliers also and in no positive way sadly. Maine lot's of Saabs! 😍 We hope to visit SOC next year :) Have a nice weekend :) Keep on Saabin 😍

I believe there are some very appealing features on your car, such as the HUD, which brings me joy every day, and the entertainment system, which I rarely use-only once during a few hours' trip when I connected a PlayStation for my child. I particularly appreciate the rear entertainment system because it includes a third climate zone. The HID lights are also a great addition, and I believe they all came with cornering lights. The high beam performance in this car is significantly better than in my '08 9-5. Ventilated seats are essential for me, and I have them in both the OG and the NG model. I love them. The optional parking system, however, is something I have never used, though I frequently use the parking sensor button. There are two options I miss: active cruise control, which I believe was available as a 2012 option, and the glass sunroof, an option from 2011. Another 2011 option for the US was remote start, which I installed as an aftermarket system and use frequently. Overall, it is still a great-looking car, even after all these years. However, compared to my '08 model, it doesn't feel like a true Saab anymore, and that is disappointing to me.

Yes the HUD is great! Love when I use the navigation and it shows exit road nr etc. Did you notice a thing the Belgian vectors did not have multicolor cluster and that is kind of strange. The active cruise control you can also retrofit and also there is something new launched to 9-5 NG during Saab Festival will be interesting to see what function that is 😍 I am sure this car would have been scrapped if it had remained in BE so happy to have saved it.

@@MMSaabChannel My '08 Aero is from Belgium, and where Harman Kardon and rear seat heating were standard in the Netherlands, they weren't in Belgium. However, a fire extinguisher was standard. Also, the headlights are always on in the Netherlands, but not in Belgium. So, I'm not surprised that your car doesn't have the multicolor cluster. I'm curious to see what new feature will be launched during the Festival for the 9-5 NG. Thank you for the information about the cruise control, I will look into that.

Thanks M&M for bringing us Saab content. I do miss my b205e 9-5 og from 99. I almost bought a ng 9-5 2.8 v6 Aero, one of the only two units in Portugal. End up getting a Lexus but I do miss Saab, as they were one of the reasons for me to learn Swedish. 😢

Greeting from Texas and CA. In North America the trims were Turbo 4, Premium and Aero. They should have kept the Linear Vector and Aero names.

Thanks for sharing! Beautiful car. ❤The back seats mimic airplane seating, but much better, of course. Does your Saab sometimes make a chime sound like an airplane seat belts on announcement? 😊 I like how in this model, if your key fob doesn’t work due a battery issue, you can insert the fob into a little holder next to the start button. 😊

That would have been something 😂 Yes battery key fob thing is a cool function 😍
