I don't want to be anxious... I take deep breaths but it doesnt help, It is like a physical condition - my hands are shivering, tightness in chest, pain when I breathe, feeling of dread as though I am going to be attacked. I hate when people give advise without really knowing what they are talking about.

Exactly. People say get over it or assume it's an emotional disorder where you break out in tears and can't handle stressful situations. No, I'm fine in stressful situations, it's when I'm watching a funny movie that I am enjoying, and suddenly without warning my body is giving me every symptom of a heart attack, minus the heart attack. Fingers, arms, body numb, and tingling while heart rate is pushing 200 after being below 70 all day...5 minutes later the episode passes and I'm stuck in a loop of fear of another attack coming that never comes until I begin to forget about the last attack. No I don't spend my day in tears or upset, I spend my day at work struggling to catch a satisfying deep breath constantly and when I finally get that breathe, I'm back to taking deep breaths immediately after. My first panic attack was when I was stationed in Japan, healthy, running twice daily, I was on the treadmill one morning when the first attack hit me, honestly I'm still convinced I had a heart attack bc ANXIETY? THERES NO WAY WHAT I EXPERIENCED IS ANXIETY!! Is what I will forever believe, doctors think otherwise.
@leeroy56653 ай бұрын
The only thing in regards to anxiety that I think may be true, is that the panic attacks are the bodies way of letting go of stored emotion that wasn't dealt with. I spent my life running from my problems and emotions, the energy produced in highly emotional states gets stored and eventually needs to be released. Very important to remember this.

Bobcat, If you have a problem of overthinking negative thoughts do the below given practice daily anywhere-anytime as often as you can--day and night-even if it is for just 2 or 3 minutes with eyes open or closed. Be careful what you feed your mind. Feed trash and trash will come out. Avoid comparing yourself with others, avoid storing bottled up emotions, reduce watching negative social media and avoid constipation as it affects the mind. Your breathing is closely related to the brain [mind] and gives relief from stress and overthinking. For a relaxed mind observe the sensations of your incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils and within the nostrils for 5-10-15 minutes or more. You can sit on a chair or lay down anywhere, be as still as possible, eyes closed but avoid deep breathing. Don’t fight your thoughts. Make it a lifetime habit to observe your breath before sleep, when travelling, when reading, at the workplace etc, Best wishes--Counsellor.

For the most part I no longer have this problem. Maybe once in a while my voice might shake but I stop, breathe, and proceed with whatever I am saying. You feel anxiety because during the winter, the energies on the planet retract. It is recommended to focus on the physical aspect of spirituality like exploring haunted places. 🙏

@@sacreations3298 Sorry to hear, yet glad to see I'm not alone in it.. I really wish you the best and hopefully this will be over soon forever. But this must be known: a society based only on rationality (to define the success of their measurements only by the amount of deaths they have prevented) is the society we're currently in and it is not a very healthy situation..

It's great to hear it now because I have been suffering from anxiety and recently feeling better. So this vdo will help to prevent me from suffering hard in future. I am a sufferer I know that most of the time we suffer is from fear of which may not even happen but if we look carefully we might find that its our brain sometimes giving us signals to maintain better health for mind and body to take care of. We usually ignore that. Thank you Sadhguru!

What Sadhguru means to say in my point of view is that the knife is ur brain and the hand is you. You don't have to supress ur thoughts or emotions if u do so u will suffer but if u can take the thought and emotions that the natural to ur brain and still be calm and collective about those emotions and thought then u will have the upper hand over the situation. What ever the mind thinks let it think you just have to be calm and not worry because after all it's just a thought.

I have anxiety.. Since 92..for 30 years... Fatigue is the worst of all.. It is not depression.. But anxiety and depression.. Symptoms are the same.. the difference is a person with anxiety is hopeful.. that he will overcome it... And overwhelming himself with thoughts and some actions on himself... Thay create fatigue A person with depression.. Has no hope.. He stop trying... Both of us can not live with people The longet and harder I fight.. The better i see solutions hard to do Especially during corona I fought harder and took time.. to pray meditate daily..at least.. About 1 hr praying and meditating in the morning and night.. Reading the Bible.. Some days 2-3 hours. Don't read the bible like history book or newspaper.. Read it like.. Chemistry or physics book from your spirit.. Don't live a verse till u understand it... 100%... This will calm ur mind and body from... Anxiety Anxiety is overwhelming thought of ur self that lead.. To severe fatigue and sexual impotence
@battle-axe86082 жыл бұрын
Worry brings about chemical imbalances in the body leaving us nervous, fearful, anxious and such. The mind and heart are affected that so much is going on upstairs and the heart starts beating, leaving you fatigued to the core. Try to get something that makes you relax. There will always be a trigger (unfortunately) but how you handle the trigger really matters.

I gave up on it like 7 times but once I really understood what worked for me it became so powerful. I got rid of anxiety, low energy, boosted my self esteem and confidence. Wish you all an amazing 2022

This was the best Sadhguru presentation I have seen in a while. I was especially impressed with his point about how people are constantly recreating themselves through both the forces of biology and their own actions, decisions, lifestyle, attitudes, etc. Past experiences, family problems, relationships, triumph and tragedy, etc. All of these things have a huge effect on us. They can create big challenges. But we should not underestimate our own intellect, integrity, resiliency, communication skill, determination etc. And this does not even count the forces of karma which often give us a vital boost when we most need it. Through the process of reinvention we can overcome most obstacles in our life.

My anxiety and neuroticism is and has always been a direct result of MY reactions to external stimuli. MY response to the things that other people say, do or my perception of what they are thinking. All are things that are out of my control. When I keep this in mind and choose to react with indifference, I am at peace. It’s not easy but it’s worth the effort for me to keep doing it.
