The best picture of the video is Kates beautiful face and smile in front of the American flag. The technical talk about the boat was a good bonus. Keep having fun and stay safe.

Updating the rods is a wise choice. The boat looks really good, too. Nice find and thanks for sharing your adventures on her. Yeah, we're jealous :)

Hello,just came on to your channel,nice rig my friends,I do wish you well in your travels,looks like you know sailing. Ok I'll keep up with you, much luck to you two,be safe and try not to tangle with "the co-vid" I'm trying to be real careful since I'm an older fellow, me and the wife,so we are keeping a low profile,I'm from Louisiana,I'm a retired Aviation Mechanic,and pilot,don't do much of that anymore pushing the eighty mark ,So about all do is work on engines and fix things that can't be fixed, do wood work,building a band saw mill so I can cut up some cedar and some red oak I have, to make some furniture,just keeping busy.Okie-Dokie be good and do good and safe travels to you two. Jim

I know your name is Curtis but I’m a Kurt. Been called a Curtis a lot over the years. I’m sure you’ve been called Curt a lot. What to say of how to spell your name. Loved small boat racing. Also back in the was a buoy judge. Not sure if that’s what you call it, I was just 11 or 12.

Haha! I am a Curtis, but do get called Curt often, and often people spell my name with a K as well. I usually let it slide ;-) The small boats are so much fun!

As fun as it is to watch...... Inland waterways are complicated enough for me. I dunno if I would be capable of sailing.
@SailingSweetRuca

Glad you are having fun watching. IMO, inland waterways are more stressful than offshore. Once you and your boat are ready, offshore there is simply less objects and boats to worry about (most of the time :-)

@@SailingSweetRuca I've only done canals in the UK. While the waterways traffic does get a little high in the summer, it's not so stressful when you are all travelling at about 3mph. The worst part is when you meet oncoming traffic on a canal barely wide enough for 1 boat and you are fighting over who goes first. "you go first" "no, you go first" "no.... I said you go first!" "I'm going to go put a pot of tea on so hurry up and go first"

@@Falney the canals are on the bucket list, very cool!! :-) We can only imagine those tight spaces situations, definitely some challenging skippering!!!
