My first cushion turned out quite a bit smaller than the chair seat. I also had to cut the cushion . I used the 2 inch foam brand you recommended.

I cut my 2nd fabric about an inch larger than chair seat ,but cushion the same as pattern. Still had to cut down cushion. Cushions look good though.

How do you prevent the front of the cushion from sliding sideways? TFS!

That is typically not an issue for a simple chair cushion. However, if you like you could add tie down straps to the front corners to prevent that.

The cording foot is built into the standard foot for the Ultrafeed LS-1 machine. You will see it on the underside of your machine. No need to buy anything for that.

Yes, you can. The edges of the fabric may unravel slightly when cut with scissors, but they will be on the inside of the cover, so no one will see them. Let me know if you have other questions.
